There's another post where someone broke theirs and was looking for the part number (because the whole thing is not on it) and this is what I got.

The rear driver's side latch on my soft top has broken off. It didn't catch on anything, it just snapped right off. I'm so confused.
Assuming this is a part I can replace at home since our local dealership is not great to deal with.
I have 2022 Outerbanks soft top. It's particularly...
2022 Outer Banks and all four of mine have had sticking/catching outside the track issues since the day I bought it. Mine is currently sitting at the dealership waiting on a Ford technician but after 3 years I've gotten no response from Ford other than "working as designed." They did get...
I've not used my FordPass app for a while since I had trouble logging in after one of the previous updates. Now when I log in, I've noticed it's wiped the alert history. Does anyone still have their alert history or maybe know how to retrieve it? Currently it just says You Have No Records at...
Ford seems to be adamantly burying their head in the sand regarding the window issues. It seems to be one of the most talked about issues on the forum and I've been fighting it since day one with repeated trips to the dealership for them to tell me it's "working as designed." My response of...
Depending what state you're in you may be outside Lemon law timelines. I'm in Florida and you only have 24 months from delivery. I've just requested a buy back from Ford and they're currently trying to bounce me back to the dealership.
I've been through 2 failed front axles (1st warning at 190...
Your dealership was able to resolve it? All four of mine do it to varying degrees and they haven’t even acknowledged there’s an issue yet.
I keep getting “working as designed” as the final diagnosis.
I can try to grab one later but specifically for the issue when the door wouldn't open, no, the window was not dropping AT ALL.
Ongoing issues it's more the drop timing. It's not dropping fast enough when you open the door so you have to hold it shut, pull the handle, wait then open. OR it...
This. And this isn't the only issue. I've had the front axle assembly replaced twice. Mine was towed 2 days after I bought it. Everyone tolerating and just fixing it themselves is why Ford won't recall or acknowledge the issue. Especially since, as others in the forum have noted, this type of...
This is at least an avenue to look into. The real head scratcher is how do you hold them accountable for a lemon when the service techs refuse to document the issue, then say you don't qualify for lemon law because you didn't meet the recurring issue criteria.
GO MAKE THE DEALER DOCUMENT IT!
Sorry to yell, but their refusal to document the issues has cost me a straightforward lemon law proceeding. At least make them document that you asked for it to be looked at and they "found nothing" and then get copies of the ROs to make sure they put that in...
I know this is older but if you just got it I would harass the dealer and MAKE them document your concerns. They did the same thing to me for years, and told me it "wasn't an issue" and "nothing they can do" until now I'm out of warranty and lemon law timeframes and Ford corporate is asking why...
I've realized that now, but last December when I wasn't and was having the front axle assembly dealt with for the second time and still complaining about the windows they told me I didn't qualify.
Well of course I don't qualify if you refuse to address or document the issue.:mad: I...
I mean I appreciate the info but I'm well versed in the window issues. I'm not the handy sort or willing to waste hours of my time for something that should have worked from the get go. All doing this yourself does is let Ford off the hook for faulty design and poor quality.
Also note that the...
That's kind of the plan. The front axle has has been fully replaced and replaced/worked on twice, and I kid you not, the minute I left the dealership today the heat stopped working. I've starting to think I'm being pranked.
Yes, they did that the day this happened and it was enough to get the window to drop so I can open the door, but they're still intermittently not dropping and either catching when I open them, or not dropping and getting stuck outside the track when the door is closed.
I've just picked up my '22 Bronco Outer Banks from the dealership after the window drop issue got so bad I was unable to open the door at all. This is the 3rd or 4th trip in with the window issue and at the end of today's visit they advised they had tried all the TSBs and software updates from...
I don’t have a solution but if you’re still under warranty I’d go get it documented. I’ve been going round with my dealership about my windows over a year and a half now and finally got the point where it wouldn’t drop at all and you couldn’t open the door unless you went in through another door...
