Badland's standard tire is not small, but not Sasquatch Big either. Compromise? Maybe, but seems big enough for the purpose I have in mind.

Hi -
Mainly for road drivers, not dedicated off roaders - I was wondering, how many of you prefer the smaller tire look ? To me it reminds me of vintage, humble truck. Which I like. But then on some days, I like the look of the big tires too.... so I am trying to decide - do I want a vintage looking truck, or something that looks tough and capable - but also has that "look at me" big tire factor.

Obviously the side profile makes the bigger Bronc look even bigger but good lord, didn’t realize how much of a difference. I’m personally going with the Squatch because all of my other vehicles I bought stock and then put tires and lifted down the road. I’d rather have it done from the factory and retain the warranty personally. If you’re not intending to do serious off-roading, the non squatch factory options will still look good and ride good for you.

Wow, you are right so much difference.
Would need something for reference to size it against, but I agree the side profile makes it pop more.

Love the look of 35s but I really do not want MT tires. I have Cooper AT3 XLT on my Jeep Wrangler which are light, quite, and have an aggressive look. If I get Sasquatch package, the MT tires will not be on there long.

You can see the middle bronco seems to look more narrower which has to be the angle of the shot that creates that illusion. The far right is the one with Saq package but obviously it's a few inches higher when you compare the front bumpers

I like the look of the 32 or 33" tires. I also do not prefer M/T tires. They are more noisy on the road, more road resistance, etc. If I were off road a whole lot more I would maybe consider them. I like the Black Diamond Package, which I reserved with the standard black wheels.

So we are essentially tied on the look we prefer, small tires vs big tires ?

Is that real? with the Sasquatch Pkg Bronco is Huge, I would prefer the without Sasq Pkg. (for Practicality on Road Only) But sometimes I would want it, aah so difficult to decide
There’s something else going on in that picture. If you use a scale, the width of those two ā€œBroncosā€ are different. I know they are preproduction but it’s almost like they are two different models altogether. Point is, it’s more than tires affecting your perception in this specific image.

I have a 2016 base manual convertible Mustang (with a racing stripe) that bought 1 year old for $23K with only 6500 miles on it. Side by side with a GT or a 350R, it may look like a "lesser car"... but to the general public, it makes no difference.

I get compliments on my car all the time... no average person knows that I have base model. I don't regret spending double for a Mustang that I cannot afford and am happy that the base V6 engine is good enough to have fun, but not so powerful that I could get in trouble with it. I have the same attitude with the Bronco.

Base Model. Nothing on it. May upgrade the tires later (I will get two sets of wheels, to get a different look).

If I get stuck, I will use my shovel, upside-down floor mats, winch, etc, to get my self out... and I will probably not do anything that will get me in real trouble.

True that. I have a V6 "Got to Have it Green" mustang I got used for $15K. Put some nice wheels and staggered tires on it, and I wouldn't trade it for any of the GT's around. Hell, no place to drive fast anymore where I live anyway.

As Sherlock McEinstein once said....
"Better to have a redone kitchen and a base Bronco with nothing on it, than a lifted Sasquatch Bronco with giant inch infotainment screen that I cannot afford and no improvements to my kitchen..."
I think this is one of the best Quotes I have seen on 6G. Puts it in nice perspective. My wife actually pushed I should go Sasquatch. After reading this, I asked if she would like me driving the cooler Bronco, or replace deck with new patio and cover it and get the Base. I didnt even finish the sentence before she answered.

Base is looking like maybe where I change to. Needed a reason to get some Rally Wheels, that my friend tells me are far to old school for her.

I really like the small tire look, but there are still places to go off roading and I go all the time. So I need the big tires for that.

I prefer skinny and tall tires. They look great in my opinion, tall but not overly huge and give trucks a better stance without looking bloated. They add less unsprung weight, helps maintain power and mpg (negligible). Still great off road performance when you need to hit the dirt. Feels like win win to me.
Agreed, on the JL Wrangler the BFG 285/75R17 look so much better than the stock 285/70R17.
