Nope. Once in a while (daily in the winter) I drive FJ Cruiser with 165K on the odo.

FJ may be a bit quicker due to less weight, but both the 4.0L and 3.5L naturally aspirated V6's Toyota used in 4Runners/Tacomas are dogs, especially with the 5 speed transmission.

Thrash the crap out of it and you're lucky if you get to 60 mph in 8 seconds and it sounds like it's going to explode in the process.

Ok, you got me. I'll be perfectly honest from this point on. It does not depend on me (as you get older, you'll find out). It depends on the company. If I am in the "company" of a new (to me), young (not too many miles), "aerodynamic" vessel.......I'll be fast. Some "vessels" just create a certain level of excitement to make you go fast, even if you don't want to. Now,......if I have a vessel that has plenty of miles on (most put on by me), and not so aerodynamic anymore, I go slow. The excitement is diminished in a way. Just wait a few decades, and it'll all be clear as a bright, sunshiny day.
