I don’t hate it. Might be better with a darker wood!

I think wood trim don´t work with the intended purpose of Broncos, but looks good. Maybe a Special option for the Outerbanks (Since is the most road oriented Bronco) would be nice.

I think the darker would definitely sync better to the black elements of the interior for sure! Since I have the roast color scheme, I was trying to tie into that aspect as much as I could when deciding.

I ordered some roast colored handle inserts from Etsy to replace the grey on the out side handles and center handle. We’ll see how that works (I’ll post those pictures when they get here). Figured for $30, why not give it a try!

While it looks good in this interior trim combo in a JC Whitney kinda way, I wouldn't want to be the second owner. I can't help but think of guys in our local Land Cruiser club that have mid-90's faux burl wood appliqués stuck here and there on the dash, probably by a dealer back in the day. Getting them off without damaging things and getting all the goo off. Hurl.

I get so many compliments on these wood inserts from Amazon, I think Ford should consider adding a submodel called the "Woodsman" or something along those lines, and load up with wood accents. Built for that guy who makes furniture, or the local scout master, but with some flare. I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I'd like this myself, but once I put them on, I instantly loved them and how it made the cabin feel. I've heard many times from those who have never been in a Bronco "wow, this is much nicer than I thought it would be, love the wood look!" I really do think Ford is missing an opportunity here. These weren't but maybe a $100, and I didn't use all of the pieces (note the window switch area).

I wish there were more pieces I could buy to keep going with the "wood" feel. Especially on the door panels, I see a cool opportunity for the indention on the bottom edge, the handle, and even perhaps the arm rest pad. Any of you 3rd party vendors on here have any ideas that would play well with what's there now, please let me know! I'd love to talk!

I absolutely Love it! But I'm trying to figure out if the inner door handle cover will fit the front doors of a 2 Door OBX? the description on Amazon says it won't fit 2 door Broncos, but I'm wondering if they are referring to the not fitting the back doors that do not exists?

Also, Where did you get the tan grab handles??

I installed these same woodgrain trim pieces on my Big Bend with Sandstone interior back in April of 2023. I've already worn away some areas of the finish on the steering wheel piece around the exterior edges. I've reached out to B&I Interiors, a company that makes real wood interior trim pieces, to replace these, but they don't accept phone calls and don't reply to emails. Their website lists a few kits, but I can't get them to take my money. I've also called CarID to see if it's something they can get, since they retail a lot of their models, but they only have Bronco Sport kits so far. https://www.bitrim.com/product_search.htm

Yeah I'm not sure about the 2-door version if they will work. Perhaps try the seller on Amazon and ask? I'm sorry, not much help....

This is where I'm getting the Cooper Metallic inserts for the handles to see if they're close enough to "roast" to not look too stupid. Figured worth the $25 to give it a shot (lord knows I've wasted a lot more than that on this thing already!)

They should go back and make the Filson Edition with real wood interior pieces and that baseball glove seat leather we all wanted...
that is the leather that was in my 04 F350 King Ranch. I loved it!

It's a real shame the King Ranch versions got away from that original leather they used. It was so awesome.

Ford will call it the Morning Wood edition. 😳
Ford would somehow find a way to make the fake wood crack ... to match the MIC hardtop. ;)
