Yeah I’d be interested to hear how - and where they are doing that. I like the idea though if someone has been able to get it to work.

In for a Tri-Pro, I've been looking for the right cam setup and this one seems pretty great, all the way around. Since I'm dual tops, I opted to buy the extra cabin camera and bumper camera and switch between the two. I'm also planning on mounting the rear camera either to the spare or the rear bumper.

Looking forward to having it installed, while already dreading the install itself lol.

You guys are awesome with the idea to flip the cams. My pup usually rides behind me in the truck. With her back there, its hard to keep eyes on her. Adding a cam back there to watch her is a great idea.

@WolfBox maybe there's a QuadPro on the horizon?

Has anyone tried mounting the bumper camera as an underbody mounted camera somewhere besides the bumper? I have the OEM front camera but thought maybe the bumper camera could be mounted in other locations.
This past weekend I did see where someone did exactly that, but I have zero idea where I saw it. They installed a bracket under the body and mounted it near the frame and pointed it towards the front tires. I think they said it was to align tires over obstacles. This camera was higher than the bottom of the frame so unlikely it would get knocked off crawl'n.

Update: The G900 Tripro Basic Kit shows as $294.50 after discounts and the G900 Pro Basic kit is $242.00 after discounts.

I'm also just discovered that Wolfbox sells a refrigerator/freezer combo and bought one on the labor day sale for a steal. I stumbled upon it accidentally looking for a windshield bracket. The 19 quart was $189.99 after the $10 off and the 26 quart was $249.90 after the $10 off. Looks really sweet.

It was hard to find when I went back to the website later to find it, so sharing the link here:

I'm heading to Cape Lookout for a 5 day overlanding trip next month my sad, old Coleman car fridge just wasn't gonna last. Even though money's been tight, I needed one and this was too good to pass up.

For those who installed this mirror, what did you do with the factory harness that you unplugged from the OEM mirror? Did you tuck it in along with the WB wires out of sight, tuck it in the plastic cover, or just let it dangle?

EDIT: Just rewatched the video and see later into the video that they OG mirror wires were tucked up and out of sight.

My mirror is due in tomorrow and plan to install it this weekend.

Hi RustysBronco, how are you getting to a price of $294.50? Best I am getting to is that $333 price. Would like to order asap, but of course trying to get best deal.

Thank you

Pick the basic kit and you'll get there (see below. Ultimate kit is the $333 you're talking about, which is also a solid deal.

On #1, don't shove the cable in your weather stripping to hide it and you'll be leak free (ask me how I learned this). 🙂
Rusty, are you saying do not run the rear camera wire like you did in the video? Seems to me the back side of the seal should be fine for running the wire to the glass mounted rear camera.

I had a leak. Could be unrelated, but I wouldn't want any of yall to risk it.

Thank you. This install is my morning project now that today should be a dry day. Also will need test out spots for the bumper camera before I mount it. Going try between the bumper and skid plate.

I want to get it in so I can see if I want to order a second setup for my SC (has no factory fwd camera so this could aid in parking).

Its definitely helped me. Even with all my OEM cams. Holler if you have more install questions. I'm still in project mode today.

Rusty,

Install was pretty straight forward thanks to your video. Only had a couple head scratchers not addressed in the video (accessing the fuse box was the main one). Still waiting for the additional rear camera bracket so I can mount it to the glass, but it is all wired up and operational.

For me the hardest part was getting the front camera wiring through the firewall. I tried passing thru the main harness grommet but that ended pushing it out of the firewall, so I tried something else. I ended up using the same small rubber grommet as our power running boards (one right about the main grommet and worked like a champ.

Thanks again for the tips and video.

Regards,
Greg
