Helping out a user on another thread, I just found out @WolfBox has a pretty sweet deal going on right now for 30% off plus an extra $10 for $157 off the $489 Ultimate Install Package price.

How to get it:

1. Use this link:
https://wolfbox.com/products/wolfbo...amera?ref=RustysBronco&variant=50977060847905

2. Add the tripro to the cart and make sure code GEARUP30 shows up.

3. At checkout, add code WBBESTGEAR for another $10 off.

Should bring a Tripro down to $333, which is a lot less than I paid.

The extended package has the mount to replace your rear view, which will avoid the visors hitting it when opening and closing.

If you're not too sure about installation, I just helped another Bronco owner with no special tools or technical knowledge over the weekend to install hers. I also cover the install end to end right here. If there's a step I missed or something you can't figure out, drop it in the YT video comments and I'll get a notification. Usually I'll reply within a few minutes.

That link is broken for me. Can you check it again, please?

Rusty, I am looking at purchasing a WB setup, but wondering if I need the Pro Trio as my Bronco came with the fwd cam in the grill. Do not really see us doing any serious wheel'n, so mainly a pavement princess.

One thing I am concerned with is people complaining about the 900 Pro night time rear view images and wondered in you opinion if the trio was worth it just for the improved rear night time or if the firmware update to the 900 Pro has improved to the point where it would be fine in an urban environment?

The rear cam on the v2 Pro that's being sold now is the same as the Tripro, so that still makes it an attractive, buy now that the old dim rear cam visibility is a thing of the past. The 30% deal should also work, plus adding WBBESTGEAR code for an additional $10, will brings the Pro price down to $242.

With that said, Tripro does have a option that monitors what's going on in the cab as a 3rd Camera option, instead of a bumper cam. That will give an extra set of eyes in the cab, for a little extra security. Lot of folks who have a soft top like that option, because a razor to cut the rear plexiglass open is all they really need to break in. So if that gives you extra peace of mind, with the $333 discounted price, you can't go wrong there either. Here's links to each that automatically apply the codes for checkout.

I have the Tripro, you won't regret it. The display is crystal clear and eliminates a lot of blind spots. After dark, you can see lots more than the factory mirror, the newer camera fixed the problems with quality. It's almost like having night vision. The display can wash out in bright sunlight due to glare, but it works perfectly well as a conventional reflective mirror under those conditions. I got mine on an impulse, I was looking for a dashcam and the Wolfbox was on sale super cheap. It's become one of my favorite modifications. The dashcam function is top of the line. If you don't need the front camera, get the one with the cabin view.

Thank you for the reply. I am torn between the Pro and Tripro. Not sure I really need the third camera (inside or out), but thinking I will always wonder "What if" if I do not go with the Tripro.

As for screen wash out, do you have the anti-glare film and did that help at all?

Also, is the provided rear camera cable long enough to reach the top of the glass out back?

Again thanks for your input!

Rusty,

Thank you for the reply. I just need to do a little more research as to which one I want to purchase along with watching your excellent how to video again.

Couple of quick questions

1. Rear camera mount t location that you chose. Have you noticed if the rear camera mount has affect the rear glass sealing and allowing rain to come in? In other words, has that location worked fine or if you had to do over again would you drop it down below the windows rubber seal?

2. Font camera mounting. In the video you do not say how you mounted the camera but assume used the mount with the tape and stuck it to the bottom grill trim piece? Or did you stick it to the front bumper?

Thanks again!

I tried the glare filter. It worked, but significantly diminished the quality of the display and eliminated the ability to use the reflection as a conventional mirror. In direct sunlight the display went completely white. I couldn't stand it and removed it after a couple of days. I keep my top off during the summer and it's been off since the install. I expect it to be much better when the top is on.

EDIT: I'll add that their customer service is 5 star.

This will probably help you decide. If you got the tripro and didnt hook up the 3rd Camera, it will function like the pro. Toss the 3rd cam in a drawer until you start to get the itch. And yes it did/yes it is.

Thank you for your honest feedback! Here in FL the sun is real, but about 8 months out of the year the tops will be on.

Did the provided rear camera cable reach the back glass or did you have to purchase the extension cable?

Fellow Floridan from Jupiter. There's times I'm so blinded by it, I'll leverage the tripro to help me see when the sun impaires my visibility.

Camera cable is long enough.
