Wait, how do you train sync? I drive three different vehicles with sync (2010 Fusion, 2013 F150, and 2020 Transit) and I'm pretty sure Ms. Sync had a stroke before any of them left the factory.

There's a setting somewhere where you get set up profiles or something like that where it'll have you say a few different prompted words, and it "learns" how you say them.

Our Toyota will suddenly decelerate at an uncomfortable rate if the radar determines the distance has closed too much. I’d rather set the speed and smoothly adjust the speed up or down depending on the people on the road.

Anyone who doesn't appreciate the screen and reverse camera has never hooked up a trailer with it. Literally the only reason I ever used a reverse camera but it's fantastic for that.
Otherwise the big fancy screen doesn't bother me as long as there is still a button or knob for the things I use most

Mine is a 2011. It’s what rmc said.

I’d go out and tell the menu options to get there but my mustang was hit by a driver not paying attention a few weeks ago so it’s still at the body shop.

It’ll basically prompt you say phrases that cover every sound in the English language so it associates your voice/words & sounds. Took like 10 minutes to go through IIRC

Systems will do that if someone cuts in front of you, and I do agree that I wish they'd have them slow more gradually in that scenario, but it doesn't realize they're going to continue going like a driver can.

I despise cruising along at whatever speed and hitting some lighter traffic and having to then constantly adjust slower/faster depending on what they're doing.

also maybe y’all haven’t used a steering wheel with controls on it but it’s the absolute tits. Even better than center stack controls IMO

Anyone curious about the infotainment system that will be on the Bronco can look at the 2021 f150 for an exact drop in system. Both 8"and 12" screens, no option for anything else. Digital dash with another 12" screen (love this). The climate and media buttons also appear to be direct from the new f150, so I'm assuming the steering wheel controls will be also.

Personally this has me stoked. I really hope they integrate a generator and the sleeper seats also (would have preferred a sleeper bench seat though) into the bronco also. Beautifully made as the perfect do all exploration vehicle.

No, let me judge when I need to slow down for other cars. If I maintain my speed and I miss em by 6", I still missed em. Sometimes I like to draft up behind em then slingshot by.

I'm still not sure why they removed climate functions from the steering wheel - even if within menus in the gauges rather than dedicated buttons.

For the average driver i get it. Me on the other hand i worked 5 years at a job where i would hook up trailers to f250, f550(5th wheel), and f650s mayby 5 or 6 times a day and back a 650 crew cab with a 20 ft bed and 20 ft trailer high COG tilt trailer into a single bay on the side of the shop. Every morning was shuffling trailers. You get good enough to get it close enough to muscle it in after that.

I think of anything i would use it to scare people walking behind me with the horn lol

I think that says it all. Older people seem to not trust technology. Keep in mind when I was a teen, I had a rear speaker in my car with reverb. I was considered a King.
