$1500 seems absolutely dirt cheap for all of those options. I mean, you're buying a $40-60k vehicle and you're going to leave all of that on the table for $1500?
My exact thoughts. For $1500, it's a no brainier. Even if you never use most of it, the resale value of having it is there.

It all depends on how much it costs for which level I go with. It also depends on which trim I order. I plan on getting Lux Badlands though unless they fix that ugly interior then First Edition which automatically comes with it all the way.

Damn. So the base will remote start and unlock from the app? For free? That’s a huge benefit towards base IMO.
As long as you have the auto tranny, then yes. The FordPass app is quite awesome actually. I believe you can even set your vehicle to remote start on a schedule with the app. So if you leave for work every day at 7am, Mon-Fri, you can set your vehicle to start at 6:55 AM on those days.

I live in New York, so heated seats and remote start are huge here in the winters. It's nice to have all the safety features as well. ACC is clutch on long trips. For $1500, it's well-worth it in my case.

I am a Boomer....kinda mad at myself because I am going from Base to BB.....5k for not much of nothing....but I want Race Red....was gonna wrap the base but found out that can get pricey.....nothing in the Mid package is of use to me.....being a Boomer we just back up till something stops us.....so I don't need a beeper....heated seats?.......was 107 today.....seats would still be warm in winter....I have had a King Ranch 150 with all that crap....no use or need for it.....hurts like hell moving off the base....but gotta have that red...
I'm in a similar boat brother. I wanted to just get a Base 4 door with the 2.7, Sasquatch, front bumper, and towing but I really want the Cactus Gray. Just to get Cactus Gray I went with Big Bend 2 door with the above mentioned options, plus the Mid Package for around the same price as the Base 4 door. It was painful though.

This may not be an accurate statement but I believe the added safety features included in the Mid Package may help reduce insurance cost?

Maybe someone more familiar can correct me or validate this theory?
Am Fam told me it makes no difference on policy cost, I have it all on my Challenger.

I'm going for it because I want the High package. Which has the mid. It's a decent value for just the safety/tech stuff. The only thing that I never used is the auto climate control. Had it in my past 2 or 3 vehicles and never use it. But everything else is worth it for me. Blind spot and rearview camera are a must.
I wonder if Ford can start the car with a phone app and also if that app might have a way to adjust the climate control...

I'd pay 1500 for the heated seats but not offered on base

What are “adaptive dashacards”

I’m a tech moron
Probably the dashboard learns what you look at the most and switches that info so you won't have to flip through menus to get to it.

All that crap listed below and all I want from it is heated seats.

If heated seats are not available sepetrately , I'll buy them after market for a hundo or two.

Auto dimming mirror is only worth a dam if it also darkens the side mirrors....

So many goodies.

The mid package has pretty much every option that I would pick if ala carte was an option. With the exception of heated steering wheel and wireless charging.

-Intelligent access
-AC power outlet
-Auto dimming rear view
-Heated seats
-Remote start
-Reverse sensing
-Blis

All must haves for me.
