No...have very nice cloth seats...but have rubber floorsDo you have the vinyl seats by any chance in your XL?
The article I linked in post #27 shows it is free.I wouldn’t bank on that. If it’s anything like Dodge you have to have the navigation package and pay for a subscription to use the phone and the app, that is through Sirius though so it may be different.
Rear view camera is standardRear view camera would be the only thing I’d want from the mid package. Don’t feel the need for any of the other stuff.
One issue with this is that I notice when Auto Start/Stop is enabled the A/C doesn't really work. Comes out kinda stale & stuffy. The default setting is obviously this function needing to be turned off when you start the car. If it can be disabled this would rule. Just my experience in my current Ford.I am not 100% sold on the mid package because I am still hemming and hawing between base and black diamond. If I go with black diamond will definitely be for the mid package though. Remote start is amazing for AZ summers, start cooling it down before you even get there. Smart entry is super convenient. Blind spot monitors/lane assist are very nice to have as well.
That’s good. The article I linked in post #27 shows it is free.
You know, that's one feature I overlooked initially when I've looked through the list. So it's a proximity sensor that auto unlocks the car when the fob gets close enough? That sounds amazingly convenient, even when not wearing gloves. The 2-door Intelligent Access is a big one for me. I hate fishing around in my pocket for the key FOB just to unlock the doors, especially in the winter when you're wearing gloves.
I'm sure these same people detest smart phones and carry an old rotary phone in their pockets instead.I do not understand the aversion of some to technology. It’s 2020, not 1970, times change.
That's how it worked on the Mustang. As long as the key was within a few feet, you could open the door. You know, that's one feature I overlooked initially when I've looked through the list. You actually have to touch the door handle. It just doesn't unlock when you get close. You know, that's one feature I overlooked initially when I've looked through the list.
