That’s a new one on me, I always used the old “ID10t error”.
Problem in chair, not in computer.

Back when I was still active duty we'd send the new guys checking in back to Personnel to pick up a ID10t form. 😆

Folks, did this go unread? This is beautiful and reminds me of the Naciremas and their strange rituals. Critical reading is a skill that is so lacking and might be part of the salty problem. People cannot read and decipher; so they ask the same question that's been asked a hundred times in the hopes that someone will spoon feed them. If you come here asking a question about a solution you read about or that addresses your issue, at least that shows you tried to figure out the answer.

Having said all that, I find most of the trolling to be quite humorous, and the saltiness to be much more polite than most places on the information superhighway, as seen by the responses here.

Every car forum goes through it. You have Old Salts like me that have been here since 2yrs before it was ever introduced and you got the new guy that got his Bronco 2 days ago. The Old Salts have seen and heard everything and stored every piece of information about the 6G since July 13th 2020. We've asked all the questions, what oil do you use, how often should we change it, what speakers is everyone buying, what is the towing capacity etc. We got jaded waiting two years on our shit to show up or even have our orders cancelled after two-three years after making a reservation. Now we're seeing the new guy go through the same questions we did 4yrs ago. Everyone's first reply is always TRY THE SEARCH FUNCTION or what does the owners manual say? I've admittedly stopped visiting the forum that often because of the stupid repeat questions. I really stopped about 2 months ago when everyday there was a new thread about getting a duck or asking, Are we Bronco owners doing the Jeep wave thing? Also, what does everyone name their Bronco? JFC its a car not a person or a pet. Grow up. Anyways, look for my 2022 2dr EG Badlands up for sale soon in the marketplace section.

I think this type of forum is predisposed to more passion… positive and negative. Why? Because the Bronco is near the top of examples where the vehicle is intimately connected to lifestyle. There are tons of forums out there for vehicles that get you “from A to B” and those people just want to be able to fix and upgrade their transportation. If you read through the posts on this forum, you’ll be amazed that it is just as much about nuts, bolts, and wiring, as it is about lifestyle. And with such discussions often come the inevitable judgements of others.

I have been on automotive forums for the last 23 years- this one is on the milder/civil side of things.

I used to be on Yellowbullet many years ago- things got rough and personal on there. And that's just the one I'll name. There's another automotive forum (I haven't touched in years) that is dying a slow and well-deserved death because some of the veteran members, moderators, and site owner are the nastiest and most miserable people I've ever had the displeasure of associating with.
