There is going to be a compromise, and that compromise should be the camera. Given how easy it is to relocate the camera, bumper makers should preserve the ACC sensor location and focus a design around it. When you do that, you will likely come up with a solution that blocks the camera, but at this point, I'm willing to compromise that with a camera relocate.

Check out the bumper in Brad's video here:

This is pretty much what I'm looking for, but with the provision for fog lights, which I think I could just add myself on top of the bumper on either side of the winch. Anyone know who makes this one? I'm pretty interested.
Well I just answered my own question, the maker is Relentless Fabrication.

If ford would have put the trans cooler where they have for years on the pickups and cars(stacked with the a/c condenser and radiator so much if what you ask could be available. Nope they wanted it lower for and not in direct air flow for some reason. The intercooler should also be up in that stack imo. I think mishimoto (sp) is working in a intercooler to move it up out if the way.

There are guys on here that have relocated Trans cooler and installed the hidden winch setup.

Didn't touch ACC sensor, pulled back some tape on parking sensors, didn't loose ANY approach angle, can also fit a low profile winch (not the upright 8274 like I did).. easy camera relocate. Uses stock modular bumper with its removable wings.

It can be done

Why in gods name do we not have a hidden winch for the 2.7 yet? We as a nation flew to the moon... yet after this car is on the streets for almost a year, we have no 2.7 hidden winches? Why are all the aftermarket bumpers so close to being perfect only to fall short. I'm sick off not seeing a solution on the market already.

here is a checklist for future bumper creators -

1. work with the current ACC and parking sensors, I mean really work, not some dubious relocation I want it to stay in the general area.

2. be wide and high - See those sasquatch flares???? yeah that wide.

3. Hide my damn winch or mount it so my camera isn't blocked.

3.5 No chin like bumpers

4. Give me options - wing or no wings??? Wings with pod light brackets.... things like that. How many of us have light bars and lights in our pods that we want to reuse on an aftermarket bumper but can't because there is no option to. Looking at you Relentless.

5. How about a quick connect winch plate that can attach to the modular bumper and a plug-and-play winch control pack.

6. lastly as a gift, ARB I will fix your bumper for you below(pod lights on bar can go) MAKE THE BULL BAR OPTIONAL OR MODULAR!!! Not everyone needs protection from deers 24/7

I’m waiting for a rear bumper with built in spare tire carrier. I hoping one is available when my Fox coilover lift and RCV’s come in so I can add 37’s.

If I have to have a bumper with a winch sitting on top, they might as well make one to fit a Warn 8274.

I thought Addictive Desert Design's Rockfighter bumper was pretty close...(although not hidden but pretty slim). I like the visible winch. I do not claim to know anything about the technical side of installing a winch, but seems like there would be a place to mount that ACC sensor under the winch, or an adapter harness so you unplug the box, install an adapter harness to length those cables, plug back in and mount. Maybe I'm over-simplfying? :D

RC has the hidden winch...the only thing in the way is the 2.7 tranny cooler.

Don't need a bumper, just need a cooler relocation.
