Alright, lots of anxiety right now about the 2.7 and the "failure tracker" thread. So, figured a thread of 2.7's running great with no issues would be helpful to contrast the unfortunate bad news list.

So, if you're willing - post up your engine build date and current mileage. If this catches on, people can post every month or so with update mileage (assuming we don't all jinx ourselves) :)

Here's mine with a gratuitous picture of my Bronco. 6/28 build with 478 miles and lots more coming

I guess some are always going to fret. Some will, some won't, but all are under warranty. My 6-30 BD WT is running perfectly at 4700 miles. Relax would be my suggestion

Agree 100%. I've read posts of people wanting to sell their perfectly fine Bronco b/c the engine may grenade. I'm going to drive the hell out of mine and if something happens, it'll get a new motor and then will drive the hell out of that one too. That's what they're made for

9;300 miles and runs great. Zero issues so far. Minor quirks with sync 4 like everyone else, nothing at all engine related since I picked it up 9/1.

So far I've got you all beat...12000+ miles and still going strong. I'll post my build date when I get a chance tomorrow.

I’m at about 3500 miles, no issues . Drive it like I stole through break in and continue to do so. The first time I actually drove it responsibly was just recently on a trip from Stockton to Monterey. Netted 19.6 mpg with CC set at 74 and a nice tail wind. This included two stops, both were of the drive thru variety ( engine running )or else I probably could have seen 20mpg. Overall I’m sitting at 16.4 mpg since the day I bought it. Not bad for 35’s.
