Well, Ford, or at least Ford engined has had 5 Playboy Pink derivatives back in the day so I just that trumps (lol) any Barbie Jeep.

See if you can name them to all, they're all safe for work but if these upset anyone it was not my intention and I'll delete.

Ford is reducing it's color offerings. This is what they have for the 2025 Explorer:

I can't name the playmates but:

1. Probably a 65 Mustang
2. Sunbeam (that I had to search, thought it was a t-bird at first)
3. 72 or 73 GT500
4. A Pantera
5. Mid 70's Capri

I don’t mind the plum crazy purple Jeep with the brown interior ( peanut butter and jelly) but that pink is blasphemy.

Pretty good, here's the article I pulled the pics from with the exact years:

Sunbeam Tiger had 260 or 289 Ford V8
That’s a 69 or 70 Shelby GT350 or 500 (likely GT350). Shelby had that front end first and Ford copied it for 71-73 Mustangs. There were zero 71-73 Shelby Mustangs.
Early 70’s Capri. I had the later 70’s version (still German)

This reminds me of Sedona, where they have pink jeeps everywhere.

I realize that now about the Shelby's. Only reason I guessed 72 or 73 is because the angle of the pic makes the hood look extremely long like those model year mustangs had.

I was surprised that it was an early 70's Capri as it looks so similar in size and shape to the mid 70's Mustang II.

And only reason I didn't guess 64.5 is because I didn't think Playboy would have jumped on bandwagon that early.

But that Pantera though, either that or a 2005 GT is gonna be my old-man-don't-give-an-F anymore-gonna-buy-want-I-please car.

So I just read the playboy article. I only found one mistake. It said the 69 Shelby GT500 had a 427 Cobra Jet. There was no such animal. It would have been a 428CJ or SCJ. There were a few 67’s that had 427’s very rare and fast. There never was a 427CJ though.

I believe my Capri was a 76. It didn’t have the sculpted side moldings and I thought looked better for it. Was a really fun car with the little German V6 and std transmission. They were no relation to a Mustang II. Completely different cars.

Are there supposed to be vehicles in these photos? I don't see any?!?! ;)

And for anyone that thinks the pink in the OPs image is what Jeep is offering, it isn't. They are offering Tuscadero on the JT now, and it's really not bad. And, as mentioned, at least Jeep offers some colors, and changes them up quite a bit!
