MY 22 w/ 38k miles. Original windshield, but just got the first crack a month ago under the rearview mirror. Semi-circular shape. Looks like a beer can got thrown at it.
I would search the for sale forums here for used factory steel ones. I have them on my 2022 Badlands which has a capable bumper, so I'm not sure why everybody is saying you may need the modular bumper.
Be careful with the fuel additives. Most create a higher exhaust temperature which the turbos can't handle. I read a few years ago that Ford was not recommending additives due to turbo damage.
I have 33K on my 22 badlands, and no issues. I do get the 7MT noise when it gets cold also. I think it is more reliable than the 10 spd auto. There is probably way more issues with it than the MT, and probably more forum post on it.
I'll second that, except that black light odometer.
I miss my 89 F150 4.9L 5 spd. It went 254k miles before the timing gears broke. I'm still questioning how that happened.
My 07 F150 5.4L is at 358k miles and still going.
The Bronco has a long way to go to catch up.
I have these mats, but have not had to use them. The only soft spot I have found with my Bronco 4L, the lockers, and the crawler gear was enough to get out.
I would also consider a small shovel in case you get in a deep spot you can level the ground out in front of the tire a little before...
That is cool, and looks really great. Do you know how he took the photo? Was he standing there with a camera, or using something like a drone to go in front of you?
I have leather seats with no issues, and got my Bronco in Dec 2022. I don't know if it helps, but I try to protect the interior from sunlight as much as I can.
My 2.3 did the same thing. I happened to be at the dealer getting a state inspection, and they topped it off for me. That was about 2 years ago, and it hasn't done it again since.
I've used a small rope as a template to route through the chassis to the back of my F-150 for winch power cable in the past. You can then mark it and measure it. I would add a foot to each end to allow for terminations. You can always cut wire at the ends to what you need.
It's a fuel tank pressure too low code. I have it on my F-150, and it requires changing out the fuel pressure sensor on the tank, which is part of the whole fuel line assembly for my truck. I would take it in if it's still under warranty. A clogged vent canister could cause it also, since it...
Thanks for the write up, and don't be discouraged to DIY again. Personally I don't let anyone else touch my vehicles except a tire shop that can also do an alignment. I then know it was done correctly, or if I mess up, what not to do again. I remember my dad had to argue with multiple dealer...
I have had the Turn Offroad hardtop since April, and am pleased with it.
1). It is quieter than my soft top
2). I've noticed some squeaks since first installing it, and probably need to adjust the rear window struts.
3). I can't answer if the Targa top fits inside or not, as I have no...
Unless the fire station was across the street it would not have mattered. If she was in a city it's likely a fire station is five minutes away. In a rural area the station could be 15-30 minutes away, and probably just has volunteers that have to drive from their home to the station first. A...
