So one of my kids broke the piece off I’m pointing at. That entire back panel is apparently all one piece. Retail is over $600. Even at the discount places it’s $400 plus a ton of shipping

Does it need to be replaced? I remember my dad replaced the air conditioning vent insert thingy on his 96 Chevy pickup when my knee it hit and it broke off the little direction button thing. Then I did it again a week or so later (I mean, it was right where my knee was when I got in). Replaced it again. Then I of course did it again. It was that way when he traded it in about six months later...

This. OP just get the Dremel and clean up the sharp edge. Do it to the other side if it bothers your matchy-match OCD.

Frame it by the story userdude told: Go ahead and spend $800 and then have it happen again, or file it down and never worry about it happening again.

Cost of this stuff is crazy anymore. I had a loose bolt/squeek in my Bimmer driver seat. The whole seat back/base had to replaced for $800. Stupid.

Since that net is mostly for the rear passenger's convenience...

Remove the net and the Molle panel,
Make responsible child sit behind that exact seat every time,
Do NOT let said child bring any electronics, toys, or food into Bronco,
Until they work off or save up enough moey to pay for the replacement.

I teach teenagers, and some of them have grown up with ZERO sense of responsibility because every time they lose or break a phone, insurance covers it, every time they lose or break a Stanley cup or Hydroflask, mom and dad replace it.

Our lost and found literally has 200-300 expensive water bottles and Stanley cups by the end of the year that nobody cared enough to reclaim.

Start them young learning the consequences of breaking someone else's stuff, and they will take better care ofvtheir own stuff as they get older.

No. The upper seat foam is different for the MGV and the cloth/leather.
