I got the Ford Tube Doors, but only because when I ordered it was still illegal to remove your doors in PA. But the law technically said that you had to run what came from the factory (so an old 80s CJ where the doors were optional was OK), and my thinking was that if they came with the vehicle and were on the window sticker, then they should be OK.
PA since changed the law and you are now allowed to remove your doors if they were designed from the factory to be removed. I still run the tube doors anyway, because I have young kids (6 and 8).
And while I love going doorless myself, and have many times in my JK and JL over the years, I love that the tube door gives me a foot and arm rest
