So...I put 35's on my mid package Big Bend around 6 months ago. They were used, so they either had no TPMS sensors or they were old/not compatible. Either way, I've been canceling out the tire pressure error for 6 months.

Somehow, just today, no error! And it reads 33-35 psi per tire! How in the world?

Interesting, I have a Base, put 350 miles on it with stock tires, sensors read 37,38,39,42.
Put my after market tires and rims on and for the first 50 miles or so the sensors read exactly the same. I know I set each tire to 40psi.
Than yesterday wham, TPMS warning light and no readings on screen.
I plan on re programming them using the hazard 3 times lower pressure until each tire beeps procedure.
I should add that with the OEM tires on I adjusted the 42 psi tire down to 38psi and the sensor still read 42psi? It didnt change for some 200 miles or so.

Did this work for you? I put OBX on my base and tried the hazard/lower pressure and the brake/stop-start button with no luck. New TPMS sensors were put on them before I got them and a friend visually saw them get programmed but I still have the error.

I put aftermarket wheels and tires on with new TPMS sensors. They worked for about a month, then all of a sudden they all stopped working. I have a tool to reprogram/relearn the sensors. When I go through the process, the driver's front programs/syncs fine. The passenger front is next in the sequence, and it won't program/sync. I think that sensor is bad. However, I'm starting to get the feeling that if one sensor goes bad, that it doesn't register pressures for any of the tires.

Today on my way to work everything was good. Than took it to lunch and everything went bonkers again. I'll try the flasher thing tonight and let you know if it worked.

No luck with the 3 flasher procedure.
I'm going to get a re learn tool that works with the Ford sensors and see how that pans out.
I'm beginning to wonder if I got the right frequency for my sensors. I bought the sensors over 6 months ago and had them installed and of course threw the bags away.
As a last option I'll just disable it in Forscan.
Update. After 3 resets and a couple weeks it was determined I had a faulty sensor. Replaced it and all is good.

Do you still have your original tires? If they are nearby your Bronco will read them and say everything is ok untill you drive for a while. I put some Ranger take offs on by base Bronco and thought it had automatically adapted to the Ranger sensors. Nope, it was reading my original tires in the garage.

This was my first thought as well, my Focus RS did that a few times.

Mine behaved like this too. Got new aftermarket sensors with new wheels and they read for a while, then one would fault every now and then, then they all went out.

But while they worked, they were not accurate. They'd always show around 40 psi even when the actual pressure was as low as 32. I know the oem sensors show in real time, I watched another Bronco while we aired it down and it ticked down accurately.

Then I drove at 18-20 psi for about 50 miles, and after airing back up to 35ish they all started reading again. But that only lasted a month and they're all faulted again.

I bought the Tire Rack sensors to try this time. They didn't pick up on their own so I'm going to have to try to program them.

Gotta be really close to read the sensors off of other tires though, right? The spare has a tpms sensor and it doesn’t interfere. Those things are pretty universal as far as I know. I put aftermarket tires on with new tpms sensors. They started reading after about a half mile with no reprogramming whatsoever and have been fine ever since. I think some won’t work on higher tire pressures, but unless youā€˜re over 65lbs or something, any of them should work. I think there’s some sort of reset sequence for some cars, but I didn’t do anything to get the aftermarket sensors in my new tires to work. I could be wrong, but I doubt that a stack of tires in the corner of the garage is gonna register in the car.

Ding ding ding! I think we have a winner! Can't believe I didn't think about this. My old tires/wheels are stacked in my shop. I rotated my new tires there and even parked in there a few nights while the doors were off.

Thanks!

I moved my original tires into storage out back and I now have a constant TPMS sensor warning. It used to fix itself when I got in range of my original tires.
