Before the Bronco with an inferior similar style vehicle I'd keep a bikini top incase of rain. It was quick and easy to install, took up little room, and kept at least the front section mostly dry. As for the dust, make sure to wear tight fitting sunglasses as the first few miles running 55 mph plus will clear that out. Don't leave anything valuable and avoid parking in sketchy areas especially over night.

Need help with taking the top off etiquette. This is my first vehicle like this. Sorry about the questions.

1. What happens when I go to the store? Can I just leave it all open as long as I have no valuables inside?
2. What happens if it rains? I would check the weather, but storms sometimes pop up out of nowhere. Do you recommend that I keep a Tarp on me at all times? I saw some other nice covers as well.
3. How do I store the vehicle with top off in the garage? I feel like it will gather dust etc.
4. Do you go with all 3 sections off or just the first 2? Pros and cons..
5. Can you store the panels in the trunk without damaging them? My vehicle came with the bag.
I agree with everything said here. I went to Atlanta last week and went out to eat with two police officer buddies. One in his F150 other had his wife’s Lexus suv. Neither lock their doors! Ever! Better to let them root through nothing than break windows they say! Next day I visited MyTop! Getting one of those when they are ready! Push button open top! No more pulling out windows for me!

No, offence but you're looking at or have purchased an off-road vehicle? Right. and with some small amount of common sense just use it. Treat it as you would any other vehicle and have fun and be as safe as possible. Would you leave the vehicle open or alone with your bank books in it and a withdraw slip pre signed for whoever to go take a withdraw from your acct?

1. A vault in the console works good. A vault under the passenger seat is also good. A trunk cage is really good, just throw stuff into it and lock it up. You might consider a bimini cover for the roof when you go topless. The sun shade is great, especially in Atlanta, it gets freakin' hot inside without it.

2. Depends on your interior. I've driven in the rain and it was fine. The sun shade helped keep most of the water off the seats and dash anyways. If you have cloth or leather you might scotch guard the cloth.

3. Clean your garage. You can get a shop vac dirt cheap. If you keep the garage door open a lot during the day, you can run a DeWalt fan at the back wall and it'll push most dust back out before it can come in. Again, not very expensive.

4. I drive a 2 Door. I've taken just the front two panels off and left the back on but it didn't feel quite as open as I like, so I take the whole thing off now. Your mileage may vary, at the last meet-up I went to there were a few guys that had the first two rows off their four doors and it didn't look as dark or closed off as the 2 door.

5. Yes.

I just took my top off for the first time two weeks ago. First day had just the front panels off that are over the driver. Second day took off the middle panel. Haven’t taken the cargo area panel off yet. You can lock valuables in the glove box and middle console by taking your key out of the key fob but I don’t usually keep anything valuable in it if I’m parking it topless. As for the weather I just make sure I have a couple days good weather no chance of rain so I’m not constantly messing with he roof. I store the smaller panels in the bag and the larger one I purchased a storage bag for. I have them hanging in my garage. I believe the 2 front panels you can store in the cargo area. They have latches to do so but I wouldnt do that if you’re off roading they could get damaged. Plus doesn’t leave you with much space to put things in cargo area with panels taking up most of the space. Have fun!

Enjoy each and every day. 100 days of summer with only 25 days with doors on. Mostly had the top down for the surprise rain and Hot sun days. Kind of a pain to remove completely. Splash guards a must to keep the road spray out when doors off. The rain should be only the least of concerns. When pressure washing takes longer inside than outside.

I don’t leave anything of value in mine when the top is off.
I also just added the ring dash cam and it’s pretty cool. Will alert almost instantly if there is any motion.

Can you show a pic of it installed? I'm curious what you did for wire routing, etc...

I honestly feel you would prefer the top left on.
