I always carry a paper copy of the trails when out on the trails. We like using this source, great descriptions and maps. I was able to plan an all Colorado 2 week, approx. a 2300 mile trails only trip. A June trip may run into some higher elevations to be closed due to snow Near the top. Trails...
Only have had the doors and top on about 20 days since April 1. Not to bad for Illinois weather. Live life as my daughter always told the family, be the best you can.
I had no issues with them until 32k miles primarily street use. Had a nail and a month later mosquito pass Co. I believe they just broke down from the street use. Had KO2’s installed in Co. finished that trip and just came back from a 2500k mile trip and 25 trails through out Co. without any...
Moody Hill rd F.S. #513 Colorado 7/18/24. Here is a great reason for all wheel drive vehicles to stay off 4x4 trails, can be deceiving. Notice the rocks being used as wheel chocks. Some photos of terrain before and after vehicle stopped with no one around.
Just catching up with the new photo. Had a sighting at Pikes Peak welcome center reservoir. One of our highlights of our 2 week, 2500 mile trip in Colorado. Trail was Lead King Basin after visiting the Crystal Mill off of Devils Punch Bowl.
Working on my gift also. We have the 4dr. Velocity Blue, I was wanting the Velocity color but antimatter works for this one. It’s been about 40yrs. here also.
5 Days, 10 Passes, Idaho Springs, Alma, Breckinridge and Pikes Peak area, 3,300 miles round trip from Illinois. It’s a little early for the passes greater than 12,000 ft elev. Just a few highlights. Cannot wait until next year.
This is our daily driver
Went to Amazon and purchased the $15 cheap thin ones. Custom fit using same fender screws, spacers behind the flap and inner fender, as I screwed them snug I heated very slightly to mold into shape. Cut upper part to long and flapped into black fender to keep mud from...
Enjoy each and every day. 100 days of summer with only 25 days with doors on. Mostly had the top down for the surprise rain and Hot sun days. Kind of a pain to remove completely. Splash guards a must to keep the road spray out when doors off. The rain should be only the least of concerns. When...
Purchased mine at Bronco graveyard. They are Ford OEM metal from the past. Hardest thing to do was drilling into the fender on a few month old Bronco. Easy enough once you get the courage and triple check the alignment.
I purchased the ford pen. Ford paint, ford touch up. A couple of coats and it evens out. A chip is the least of the future issues I might have. Off road vehicle, I hope for no war wounds that are not to costly, unfortunately figured in with ownership. Enjoy the ride and don’t sweat the small stuff!
