Heard some talk about being load E and unsprung weight…..
My thoughts were if the tires weigh more but the wheels are 2+ inches smaller and weigh less than most folks with bigger wheels and “lighter tires” the weight should even out and be the same as most people have lol

Those should be around 55 lbs in that size. Tires with higher load ranges are typically heavier, but at that size you should still be around 55 lbs, so it'll be fine. Definitely not an excessively heavy tire.

It absolutely matters when you get to 35s and 37s, but at those sizes you're talking about tires with weights upwards of 75-80 lbs.

Random extra thought: Load range E is strange in that size. You sure it's a 275/75R16?? I'd assume it was a C or D. Or maybe it's a 265/75R16 or 285/75R16?

Every other Bronco trim with that same gearing runs tires similar to that size you are looking at, not sure why they stuck donuts on the Base.

Exactly.

I am stuck between 265/75 that would be a 31.7x10.5 in the 40-45lb range. Safe, good choice but will probably regret not going 33.

Or

255/85 that would be a 33x10 but in 55-60lb range. I did see Falkens mT01 in that size listed at 50lbs. - if that hold true I think it’s my target.

Also a bit intrigued by Pirelli scorpion MT in 235/85-16 that would be 31.7x9.5 I think in the low 40lb range.

More so was concerned with them being “E Rated”
It feels fine to me, less body roll than with donuts, that’s a positive imo lol
Sometimes a problem/less than optimal thing can be occuring that can not necessarily be felt. Just was making sure really.

Pretty much going to get E rating with a AT

Probably want that anyway for the beefed up sidewalk construction.

Don’t rely on printed data for PSI. Look up your tire weight rating divide bronco weight by 4 and adjust PSI down accordingly.

You should be able to run a WAY lower PSI than is listed - that will smooth out your ride.
