Tire rotation - include 5th wheel / spare tire?

Hey I’m due for a tire rotation my guy at the shop said we just rotate the 4 tires but I have seen a lot of threads of people talking about the 5th wheels going into action and to me that dosent make much sense cause that’s a brand new tire and the rest have been used so If we throw it into action won’t that be a bumpy ride? Let me know what yall do and inform me

I always do a 5 tire rotation , to get the most out of my money . Tires have a shelf life and if you just wear out the 4 on the ground , you will still need to replace the "new" spare due to dry rot. I rotate mine every 5000 miles when i do my oil changes .

5 tire rotation every 5k miles but make sure you remind the guys how you expect the rotation to be made with the 5th tire. Each time I go in I do this and am amazed that the same store always seems like it's their first ever 5 tire rotation.

Never had any alignment issues. I currently have 45k on the original Goodyear tires that came on my 2022 Wildtrak. Most people on this site don't care for these tires but I believe I could get another 10k to 20k out of them if I exclusively kept them on the road.

Always rotate the spare esp if you ever plan to change tire size do it yourself at oil change and save some $$
