What are all the tire options - and what does it cost to buy a replacement set.
* Bonus question - Which option will last the longest on the street only.
Bonus Question Answer: The Bronco Sport. :ROFLMAO:

If you want the most life out of them, when you rotate tires, rotate the spare in. (Although the cheapest route is probably that tire cover suggestion ?)

So how does that exactly work? If you have a cover on the tire and don't rotate it with the 4, do you need to replace it all the time that you do the other 4?
"Need" or "should"?

you include the spare in your quarterly rotation?!
Seeing as these are all matched with wheels you should. If not the spare never wears with the other four.

https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/tire-rotation-patterns

If your vehicle has a full-size, non-directional spare tire (one that isn't branded “for temporary use”) and a wheel that's the same size as your four main tires and wheels, you may want to consider the following rotation patterns to keep all five tires evenly worn. This is especially important for four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive vehicles, because if you need to use your spare tire and it has different wear than your other three tires, it could place undue force on the drive train of your vehicle due to the difference in tread depth.

If the spare is the same tire and on the same wheel, it should be included in the rotation, at least when all 5 tires are new.

If you rotate every 5K, at 50K miles, each tire will only have 40K miles on them. Make it to 75K (like my current truck) and each tire only has 60K miles on them. So, you go longer before buying new tires. At the point of buying new tires, you can pick the best of the 5 to keep as your dedicated spare and only buy 4 new tires, or buy 5 and have the longer interval again.

Probably the most logical and comprehensive post ever on 6G. Bravo
I probably won’t do it, but bravo!

It's actually easier to rotate the tires yourself if you don't have a lift by including the spare.
I don't know why people wouldn't include it. I guess having a new tire bought and paid for you never use is cool and all, but I like to get my money's worth out of them.

According to the Rubber Manufacturer's Association (RMA), it takes about seven gallons of oil to create a standard car tire.
@Moderator for the record, I never mentioned politics. It's the influx of gas eating 4x4s with big tires that'll do it! ?

Oh jeez, that never occured to me!
I rotate with my switch over from summer to winters and back. Haven't had a wear issue yet.
Just have to remember to mark them before I store them for the season.

I'm just lazy...I currently have an AWD car and I haven't really rotated the tires (maybe once or twice over the life of the car) and I got about 40K out of high performance All season tires. I'm guessing I'll get at least 60-80K with the Bronco Tires.
