If you are looking to be blacked out then I can't help you. But if you are looking for actual functional without looking like you're some famous movie star...highly recommend 3M Crystaline.

They don't make it dark because it works extremely well for temperature control (ir) and protection (uv) while still allowing you to see at night and be light enough cops most likely won't mess with you.

I had them match the rears with ceramic.

I matched the rears with the Standard film the shop offered. Because we beach our rides, sand will inevitably get in the window rubber and scratch the tint and need to be redone at some point in its life. The shop I use did a perfect job for $110 and 45 minutes.

I went with 5 up front and visor, and 15 elsewhere.
tint guys talked me out of the ceramic. Told them most of the time the doors will be off when the sun is out, so don't really need the ceramic.

Just letting everyone know there is some mis information in this thread. The back windows meter at around 15%. 35% for the front windows is not a match.

Really need to check what laws in your state allow then go from there.

Correct. I did 20% on my front windows and it just about matches the back windows.

Just because it’s legal in your state doesn’t mean it’s legal elsewhere

a cop pulling you over for illegal tint and then smelling alcohol is bad luck, to me

but with that being said I may tint mine Louisiana legal 🤷‍♀️

20% has always been my go to. Any darker and it gets hard to see at night, any lighter and you may as well not bother.

20% also closely matches the factory rear privacy glass.

On my 2-door, I originally did 20% on the fronts which was great during daytime but too dark at night to see good and the front windows were darker than the back. I changed that to 35% and went 15% on the three back windows so no one can see into the back. I got the top of the line ceramic 3M that also blocks out heat and I’ve been happy with it so far.
