Thoughts/Recommendations for onboard air compressor?

I did the American Adventure in the tailgate compressor. It is only single cylinder. I put it in last week. Looks nice and clean set-up.

looks great, how did you wire it up, do you run a power lead all the way to the battery and a ground to the chassis?

AGS offers our CrystaLux power extension harnesses as an option. It's a terrific add-on as the harness is very heavy duty. To power it on with the rear door panel, you can utilize the existing switch harness that ARB provides, run that to the inside upfitter pass-through wire (behind rear passenger seat) and then connect it all the way to the front. OR, you can use our CrystaLux ARB Switch harness. Our switch harness plugs into the back of the ARB compressor and then into the included switch that comes with your ARB. NICE AND EASY! No additional wiring crazyness to deal with.

This is NOT offered as part of the AGS kit though, because it's a FEW INCHES too short. However you can easily extend our switch harness with 3 wires. That'll be a MUCH EASIER way to route the wire then to have to run it all the way up to the upfitters.

AAL sells a custom wiring loom that makes the install easy (of course you still gotta remove all the interior panels to run the power from the rear to the battery. But it’s not that bad once you get the hang of removing the panels)
