Wouldn't that sticker use make his a "half"-squatch?
I'll see myself out.

The Window Sticker will tell you if its Sasquatch or not.The factory screwed up and no one caught it. It doesn't make sense for a dealer to change one and not the other if they were trying mislead customers.
You definitely have a standard Badlands.
The salesman's lack of knowledge was on a par with yours. He was looking at the emblem. Like too many salesmen, he didn't know what he was selling.
What does your paperwork say? If it says Sasquatch, you have a clear case of fraud and they can be prosecuted. Unfortunately you can't tell from the VIN if a Bronco is Sasquatch or not.
likely more ignorance than deception. Looks like an assembly line error combined with an uninformed salesman. Not that unusual, years ago I flew into Denver, the Avis agent told me the spot my car was in and that it was a red Plymouth Acclaim. When I got to the spot it was a red Dodge Spirit. The key worked so I drove away. The plate on the dash said Acclaim however. The factory stuck the wrong badges on the trunk lid. It happensI'm just curious about this situation and would appreciate any expert advice. I only recently discovered I don't have a Sasquatch package on a 2023 Bronco Badlands I bought new from a large dealership. It was implied that it was a Sasquatch model. I really knew nothing about what that actually mean't, other than supposedly an upgrade. I was under the impression I had a Badlands Squatch until a relative purchased a new Bronco Badlands Squatch. He commented on my smaller wheels and rims. This started me looking into it.
Without judgement please weigh in.
I used chatgpt to look into how to tell the difference. Yeah I'm clueless. After checking axle gears and tire size, it bacame obvious it isn't a Squatch. So why did I think it was? 2 reasons.
1. Salesman implied it. - Yeah I know, it was a car salesman, so why did you believe him.
2. See picture attached. This is what I really would like some thoughts on, specifically if they comitted fraud, or at least deceptive business practices?
Why would the sticker on the drivers side say "Sasquatch" and the passenger side not? Based upon my research this sticker should not be on it?
Finally...I'm not interested in buying any swampland, just educated on this.

And I suspect non-squatch Badlands has smoother ride. I find my Heritage Limited with the heavy 35s a bit rough. It is based on Badlands Sasquatch. I do have a little sasquatch on drivers rear quarter. Enjoy the ride. Gas mileage probably better too in non squatch.Did you keep your window sticker or any paperwork (possibly electronic) , and if so was the Sasquatch package line item on the options list?
Also be happy with what you have, as the base Badlands is a great Bronco and your not utilizing the extra 6.7% of off-road capabilities Sasquatch adds in any case.
Most car sales people aspire to the intellectual level of a toilet full of diarrhea. You needed a whole data center full of GPU's running balls out to determine if a salesman was lying to you?
Bro, if he fogged up the mirror under his nose, he was lying to you.
???Can an @Admin lock this one up? This beyond stupid.
I'm convinced a base with some upscale appearance items and fake buttons etc ... wouldn't be detected by half or more Bronco owners. My buddy who owned a Rubicon for five years never used the lockers, could have just had non-functional buttons, he would never have known the difference.Funny story. I had an 2014 F-150 XLT and took it to the dealer for service. I was walking around the lot looking at new models and saw an “Northwest Edition” emblem laying on the ground. I picked it up, put it in my pocket and when I got home after the service I put some 3M adhesive on the emblem and slapped it on the tailgate. People think I have some rare limited edition F-150.![]()
As a Base Bronco owner I would never put on decals, buttons or other garbage to make it look more like a higher model. It would make more sense for high model Broncos to strip that crap off to make it look more like a real Bronco -- a Base Bronco.I'm convinced a base with some upscale appearance items and fake buttons etc ... wouldn't be detected by half or more Bronco owners. Sorry to say but it’s on you , however if it were me i would schedule a sit and talk with the sales manager, explain you expect nothing, but i would certainly point out the salesman pitch, doesn’t matter what his line of bs will be, but his manager needs to know it at some point will end them in a jam… what he does with that info is on him.I'm just curious about this situation and would appreciate any expert advice.
