I recently ran into an issue where my check engine light came on and I knew it was from the hose that came off my new S&B intake so I went to AutoZone to clear it real quick. That's a pain. I want to be able to see all my own codes, clear ones I don't care about, etc. Does anyone have any experience with the OBDLink MX+

Supposedly it works great with Ford's that are tuned and mine is, but before I plug something in I want to get some feedback from those who may have used it before. Thanks

Works great with Forscan (full PC version) and Forscan Lite (phone version). Can see all modules and reset all codes. Works with many various versions of monitoring software.

Is not FDRS compatible, but is considerably less expensive than most FDRS adapters.

The hardware works great but I haven’t tried their or any compatible phone apps besides FS Lite. I’ll bet if it works with Forscan then the better known generic apps will work fine too.

I can confirm that it works on my Bronco and ForScan.

Love mine...bought it like 5 years ago for my Jeep and use it today on my WT. Good for Forscan and stuff like Torque. Can read/clear codes, etc. Pretty happy with mine!

I have the MX+. It works great. It uses a different chipset then a cheapo ELM327. Much faster.

I use the EX. I had to do a full TCU (Telematics Unit) reflash for my son's Fusion Energi so that I could reprogram an Escape TCU to work with hi sFusion for the 4g Modem that wasn't replaced under recall. Worked great - also used it on my Bronco. If you have any designs on using for ANYTHING more then quick and simple changes, I would stay away from the BT version. There was ALOT of talk on the Cyan Labs forums about bricked ECUs due to connection drops on the BT ones.

Bluetooth - Great for your gym earbuds or speaker. Do you REALLY want to chance your ECU on it? 😟
