  1. Review: BroncoBikini

I keep my BroncoBikini on year round, regardless if the top is on or off. It droops a little in the front with the top on, as the front doesn't have the full tension, but neither my wife or I notice it anymore and there is still enough headroom. The time it takes to attach the few things after...
  2. Switzerland

Hello from the other side of the border in Baden-Württemberg Germany. 👋 Having the Bronco seems more exotic than having a super car. I rarely see any. Here is a picture from an off-road trip in Corsica.
  3. Overlanding in Bear Country

Yes, it is something the creator does, it isn't automatically done by YouTube.
  4. What Passes for a Bronco in Europe

The main problem is that Ford set the MSRP way too high in Europe and then didn't offer any decent financing or leasing deals. They sat on the initial batch they imported for years. They still had first editions sitting at the port in the Netherlands two years after they got there. In some...
  5. Took My Friend’s Rig Off-Road - Have You Wheeled in Anything Other Than a Bronco?

I've wheeled a previous gen Ranger and both Ranger Raptor generations, JK Rubicon, previous gen Toyota Tacoma and Prado, as well as three W461 generation G-Wagens. Tbh, I am somewhat underwhelmed by the Bronco and it's off-road capability. It certainly is a lot more refined than the JK Rubicon...
  6. How to SAS a NON-SAS badlands

My wheels are identical to the Sasquatch wheels. Same offset, width, center bore, etc. For light wheeling there is no rubbing, but at full stuff there is. It probably is also tire dependent, my General tires are a touch larger than something like a BFGoodrich.
  7. How to SAS a NON-SAS badlands

On my non-SAS Badlands I get rubbing with Sasquatch wheels on the top of the wheel well on the fronts when hitting large bumps and I managed to pop out a SAS wheel flare while fully stuffed and turning. The SAS Bilstein shocks have a bigger bump stop than the Badlands Bilstein shocks and have...
  8. What size tires on badsquatch w/out messing up articulation?

I tried both 315/70R17 (General Grabber AT3) and 35x12.5R17 (General Grabber X3) on my non-SAS Badlands, mounted on Sasquatch wheels and running Sasquatch fender flares and removing the crash bars. The AT3s rub on the top of the wheel well when fully stuffing the front, I managed to tear one of...
  9. New 2.7 Update - Info only?? 1-25-26

Could be anything really. There is a Bluetooth exploit making its rounds right now. Could be a fix for that. Or any of the other components that are installed. Usually they don't publish what security issue they are fixing as disclosure could lead to more people wanting to exploit it.
  10. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

I guess your 100% guarantee isn't worth much. The large Chinese automotive companies all do similar testing nowadays. To sell in western markets they had to quickly improve their engineering. Similar to what the Japanese and South Korean brands went through. First they sold pretty shoddy cheap...
  11. Turn Signal Lever Problem

Ford has a service bulletin out on how to repair this. I had my blinker lever replaced about half a year ago and haven't had this problem since. SSM 53238 Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit the opposite turn signal direction flashing briefly once a turn is completed. This may be due to...
  12. Anyone have experience with 35's with 4.46 gear?

On road I noticed a small performance loss after switching to 35s on 4.46 gears. Offroad I didn't really notice much of a difference while crawling. The 10 speed and torque converter seem to handle the difference in tire size just fine.
  13. Notable Humming/Vibration at Specific Speeds in 4A

I had this on my 2023 Badlands and there was an AWD module update that was installed and fixed it for me. Maybe something worth checking.
  14. A few questions of a German Bronco newbie

I believe it is this one: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10228800-0001.pdf It states it is only for cars up to 2022, but I had an update available on my 2023 model year for the wireless charging module. But generally the phone getting hot with wireless chargers is poor alignment...
  15. A few questions of a German Bronco newbie

ForScan is pretty easy. You can get the software on ForScan.org and get one of the OBD adapters they recommend on their page. I use the OBDLink MX+. For FDRS I actually have an original Ford VCM II adapter, but there are third-party ones such as Mongoose.
  16. A few questions of a German Bronco newbie

Not that bad luckily! 11 Liters / 100 km is 21.4 mpg. 12.5 mpg would be around 19 Liters / 100 km.
  17. A few questions of a German Bronco newbie

Hi Hainz, good to see another Bronco driver in Germany! We are way too few :) Regarding the bolts, I wouldn't bother going with new Ford ones, they will just rust. Replace them with something that is rated against salt water so it can deal with our salted roads. Previously I used V4A stainless...
  18. ❄️ What are the best WINTER ACCESSORIES you have for your Bronco?

Snow tires! Have been using them for 20+ years and never regretted it.
  19. A Definitive FORScan Setting (for changing DRL to orange)

Honestly don't know. But I don't recall anyone doing that.
  20. A Definitive FORScan Setting (for changing DRL to orange)

FDRS is the Ford tool that updates their cars. So either a dealer or someone with the required hardware. You can also buy it yourself, but if you don't plan to use it often it might not be worth the cost.
