Those with McGard wheel locks,

Does this look right, i mean the sticking out further than the other lugs?
I've had this brand on other vehicles in the past and IIRC they sit flush.
And I know there's a lot of opinions are weather these are worth it or not but that's
not what I'm concerned with right now, just not liking the fit, seems there ripe for a Vice Grip tool.
Only put one on, going to email McGard about this and in any case I'll be retuning them.
(Part # 24526 from their site for Bronco).

Yeah, it’s unfortunate they’re so long. I don’t see why they need to be. I’ve been debating removing them - figure no one would steal a set of steel wheels just for tires

Yea it really looks stupid, i opened the package just to start installing stopped at that one, hope they take it back.

I have them on sas wheels, they dont stick out like that. Could be they are designed with the SAS wheel in mind

Hey Rob...Mine do not look like that. They dont stick out at all.

I have #24537 in chrome on my SAS wheels and yes they stick out more than the regular lug nuts. Looks odd but better to have than not just like Fastmc25 said.

I've had McGards on several cars and have never had the lock protrude like that. They usually offer several different types of lugs and that lock appears to be designed for the their Shank style lug nut. If you look below at the kit for the Bronco, you can see the lock is the exact same length as the nuts.
