I’ve removed my OEM third brake light to make room for the AAL Spare Tire Platform. The OEM 3rd brake light has a two prong plug. Can someone identify what plug this is so I can order it for an alternative third brake light solution?

To my knowledge, they don't make a male version of the connector. Usually the female version is on the wiring harness itself (and they do sell the connector). The male section is molded into the sensor/light/whatever.

Happy Googling.

Has anyone found the plug type or a splitter for the third brake light? Don’t want to use the vampire clips.

I ended up chopping off the OEM fitting from the wire harness and uses DT connectors.
