Tall people - Door handle grid pattern

I'm 6'4 and my knee naturally rests against the interior door handle of our 2 door badlands. The pattern is very uncomfortable on any drive longer than 20 minutes. Does anyone make an insert to get rid of this issue? Maybe I could find a Velcro strap to smooth it out?

I am 6'0 with very long legs, 34" inseam and have the seat pretty far back and the steering telescoped out the max. My legs are extended out pretty straight and don't contact that area. Maybe move the seat back further?

6’4 here and I’ve never had an issue with that over the 18k miles I have in the Bronco. Have you tried changing the seat height?

Yeah, I have it all the way down to see out of the short windshield.

Mine is a 2 door. I often have trouble with seating position in vehicles. In quite a few I have added simple spacers to the front of the seats where they mount to the floor to get more thigh support. I also have to buy longer seat bolts when I do this mod. Even 1/4" or 3/8" can make a huge difference. It seems you need the seat to go back further and raising the front may help you.

LOL in some vehicles I have had in the long past I have even had to add a spacer to the steering wheel to move it out. I need to have the seat so far back I can't reach the steering wheel comfortably. That was a very challenging mod and involved custom fabrication and working around the air bag.

I’m having charcoal and orange aquatraction made for my doors. You could do same for this area. Seadek sells small pieces you can cut to fit.

6'3" here. I have a 4 door, so may not work, but I installed the below. This puts pressure on my lower leg but my knee doesn't come close to the door now. It also caused me to adjust my leg position. This took a month or so, but seems natural now.

Thanks.....We keep the back seats folded down for the cargo space and the seat already barely goes all the way back because of the seat pad from the rear seats. Not sure this would work for us.

6’4” here, I occasionally get the same imprint on my knee when driving. There is a company called Desert Does It that makes seatjackers that raise the front of the seat up. I installed them because I needed more thigh support on longer drives, and they help. They can lift the front of the seat up to 3/4 of an inch, so maybe they could lift your leg up enough to change the point of contact?

LOL I added the drink holder too I'm over 6' took a few days to get used to it but feels normal now.

I am 6'5", with a 2 Door manual Badlands. I'm surprised you have this issue. I have great legroom, with no need to rest either leg on the door or console.
