I have the JCR table. It is definitely a pain in the ass. It's awesome though.I went JCR as well. Haven't got to installing it yet, it looks like a pain in the ass.
unless something better comes around - so far it has not - I'll get this one. The stars are a bit silly, not a fan of stars and flags everywhere, but you can hang a trash bag or something else from that thing, so has a use.Hey, just saw this tailgate table. Thought it looks n sounds. What are your thoughts?
TheRCJCR table is my go to table but, this caught my eye...

I went with JCR because of the no-drill, no-rattle and 80lb limit.

Same here!
I saw @Tricky Dick and "pain in the ass" in a post, so I had to comment...I have the JCR table. It is definitely a pain in the ass. It's awesome though.
They're rubber, pretty much the same style latches on a YETI cooler - my guess is they'll last quite a while. For those with the JCR table, how do those latches work? They look like plastic/rubber - do they seem to be durable? Any concerns about the rubber drying out and cracking or breaking?
This drawing took me to my college days when a “crappy children’s artwork” site was put up for humor and the guy graded them all and made fun. Hilarious? So here is your grade!I'm probably going JCR, and what I'll do is make a cutting board that is the whole width of the tailgate that I lay on top of the JCR shelf, once it is down. I'll make a template and cut around the support wire and tailgate shape. Then take it off when it's folded up. Sorry for crude drawing. Haha.![]()

There were a lot more parts to it than I expected and the tolerances are very tight I hear. Once I read that the spare had to come off to install I boxed it up to save for another day. That's asking an awful lot of a lazy person such as myself.I saw @Tricky Dick and "pain in the ass" in a post, so I had to comment...
Anyways, what's the biggest pain? I watched their install video, and my guess is the last past where you have to put the "table surface" down? Or are there other parts that suck more?
