I ran that for a while. The Forscan settings work (assuming you don’t have the fog lights on full time with low beams anyway), but the factory fog lamps installed in the plastic bumper aim pretty straight ahead - so they don’t do much toward illuminating a corner.

When I swapped out to aftermarket fog lamp with a fog lens - that definitely lights up the corners well, but the fog lamp is actually brighter than my low beams, so I just run them full time
So, hopefully I don't sound too dumb, but I didn't know I could trade out my fog lights. Guess I'll look in doing that and I've been wanting to get the forscan, my sister actually told me it's worth it. So maybe those are my next buys. Any suggestions on where to get them?

Not sure what's available for the plastic bumper - I'm sure something is.

4x4truckleds.com
and
SVCParts.com
are both good lighting vendors and very active on these forums.

One example:

I have the SS2 Pro version of this (basically half the size) and that's what's beating out my low beams. Somehow the fog lenses seem to be able to wrap around and shine behind the bumper - I'm exagerating, but only a little bit - it's a very wide pattern. I do have an SS3 as well (not street legal fog lens though) and it makes my high beams look like a cheap flashlight.

This is how I ended up with projectors!
My lighting issue was the lack of illumination on the sides of the roads to make turns, etc. Both my teenagers commented that it was odd how bad the lighting was with the signature light, so you know it was bad.

I first had ordered up DD fogs for the mod bumper - $1130 worth. 1st Pair:SS3 Max, White SAE Fog - so dropped the big bones on these thinking I would run them all the time. I love the output but I get flashed. Often. Despite checking lens orientation and ensuring they're properly aligned. I'm not going to be that guy that drives with them on and causing other people issues, so back to the drawing board.

Enter FORM projectors - tons of light output above/beyond stock, and much better light spread. Almost as good as the DD Fogs, but without throwing light a little high.

I'll still use the SAE Fogs when on backroads with no traffic or when nobody is in sight, but that isn't often.
