Suspension Help after spacers

We recently added 2" spacers and 35 x 18 x12 wheel/tire -13 offset to our 2021 Bronco Big bend. Now, when rolling over seemingly small bumps the backend feels like it goes slightly air-born in and the vehicle jerks to the side. Enough that it terrifies my wife to even drive the vehicle. has anyone ever experienced this and do you have any idea what is causing it? It was aligned after the service. Is it possible the alignment is off?

LOL. Everything you did is affecting your ride quality in a negative way. Check your tire pressure first. Did you have it aligned after the lift was installed? Are you really running 12" wide wheels?

What kind of spacers did you add? Top hat spacers above the shocks, or coil spacers that add pre-load?
Did you check tire pressures? Some shops will over inflate tires to seat the bead, but not bring the pressure back down.

Thanks for the reply. Pressure was at 45 and I lowered them to 33. It was the ready lift 2" leveling kit.

I did have an alignment at the time of install. Yes the tires are 12". I lowered the pressure to 33 psi down from 45 from the installer.

No, the wheels are 9.5". sorry for the confusion.

you added a level which is just for looks but takes away from actual suspension but adding load and stiffness and now you have heavy wheels and tires to boot. yes drop psi to help a little for sure but what actual tire are you running. Give me the tire brand and part number so I can check a few things.

Put your stock wheels and tires on. Extra weight of the wheels and tires are throwing the rear around.

could be suspension binding,they may have torqued fastners with suspension unloaded.should be fully torqued only after jouncing suspension and at ride height/load.take it back to installer

so couple things you are running into here. E rated tire so that in itself adds to the stiffness and weight and they are MT's so they grab the road like they are designed to do. Airing down is about all you can do for now in my opinion due to what you are working with suspension wise. Ass end is lighter than front of course and you added a lot more weight and stiffness. is this your first off road style vehicle you done something like this to?

Someone above mentioned putting original tires and wheels back on. Excellent suggestion. Hopefully you still have them. You will know instantly if that is the problem. The other thing that comes to mind is I read it's sometimes hard to get bigger tires properly balanced. A defective tire perhaps? Through a process of elimination you can figure out what's causing your issues. Hopefully you can do most of it yourself.

Thanks everyone! Quick update.. Took the Bronco in and apparently the rears struts are blown with only 5k miles and never once taken over a curb let alone off-road. My guess is the dealer wont warranty because I have a leveling kit installed. Anyone else have this issue?

Does anyone have suggestions on what struts to replace with?
