is it "bad" that my order has been stuck this long when other broncos exactly the same except color were ordered on the same day by the dealer and are on the lot? (mine is top, bottom image is the white one with only 1 order code separating them k409) i thought it maybe color- but they have a outer bend in sand, same order day on the lot. Also searched and found my "module build data" which suggests its built?

Does this indicate a major defect they are trying to repair and get thru QC/QA?
IF so, is this a red flag that this might be a potential lemon?

What would you guys do?

A question is not an assumption, you are assuming my questions are assumptions. My assumption is your answer is not helpful, nor insightful.

This is not terribly uncommon unfortunately. You find lots of reasons being bantered about and most likely will never find out. I can’t speak for other lines but this has been a thing with Bronco’s since 2021. You can see the timeline of mine in my signature. I don’t think you are in store for a lemon. Mine has been great even though it was waiting with modules alive for over 3 weeks.

Thanks guys! looking forward to getting never bought domestic before OR a off road vehicle. The aftermarket looks sick for these.

Give it a couple weeks. A few decades ago I ordered a new Mustang GT convertible. I specified the N/C optional axle ratio for a bit better acceleration. My car was built and the dealer let me know they expected it in 10-14 days. It took 4 weeks. Turns out it was pulled out of the shipping queue for “random” EPA testing to confirm emissions compliance. The dealer said they’d seen that before but never on a special order unit, typically it was done on dealer stock orders. Ford never confirmed but the dealer speculated that the optional axle may have been the trigger for the random test. Otherwise they said I was just lucky. I watched the car come off the transport at the dealer and looked it over carefully. It was perfect, except it had 51 miles on the odometer. It also had a little sticker on the window explaining it was evaluated for compliance and had a hand written “51” on the sticker. The dealer confirmed new cars typically have 3-4 miles on them so the random testing was likely on a Dyno. Regardless, I accepted the car and it ran perfectly and and looked great so likely just a random test. Keep us posted on the progress and if yours shows up with mileage on it.

Agreeing with most here -- have a bit of patience. Mine was "in production" for over a month (this past March) and I emailed the sales guy who assured me nothing was amiss.

Buutttt ... the Bronco did have 300 miles on it when I picked it up :unsure:

I'm driving it now and not thinking too much about the past.
For some reason, I like the looks of yours!!

No need to panic.

The dealer had no explanation for that?

Overthinking is what's bad. That thing has thousands of parts any one of which could be delayed. Could be as simple as the reat camera recall, a paint defect, or it was a weekend. It could be fine but just have a tracking glitch. Mine went MIA in the same way, and then suddenly it was at the dealership and on time. No issue. Don't borrow worry just yet. Cheers

What would you guys do? ANTICIPATE getting a nice Bronco.

I called the sales guy out on it, and he gave me the usual, ... due to being driven while loading into and out of the trains and delivery trucks....

I know there is some driving to test components, and I just decided to not push it and move on.
