Stock Sound System is Great!!

Yup, you read it right:
The stock sound system sounds excellent IF -
1. You play Pandora source material using Apple Car Play and
2. You select the driver side only equalization sound setting

Try this approach BEFORE you knock the sound. It is a hidden gem worthy of a Virtual Easter Egg.

As many have observed, the standard system sounds poor if you do most anything else.
Try 1 & 2 before you upgrade. Lots better places to spend scarce upgrade $$.

It’s definitely worth the wait no matter your chosen configuration.

You will probably notice an improvement by adding sound deadening behind all the speakers.

I can't believe I never heard about this before?! I looked at tons and tons and tons of Bronco Audio forum posts, and YouTube videos, and never once heard mention of this. I just got my 2025 Badlands and found the "Driver" occupancy mode. Wow. 1 seat tune. I wonder how much it actually changes. Enough to make a noticeable difference.

I don't know how much else they improved the system or sound deadening (as advertised), but the base audio system is seriously decent. I bought some Hertz DCX 100.3 speakers to swap in the dash, which was the easiest audio upgrade known to man with the metra adapters from crutchfield. Seriously impressed. I can't believe that's a 6.5" subwoofer back there. Just turned down the treble and midrange 2/3 clicks, and went through some test tracks.

Not sure I will upgrade anything else honestly... Very Happy for now.
