Thanks for sharing! I would personally love to see some pics of how you mounted it and how it looks. Be proud!
Also can I ask what audio setup you started with and what else you have now? B&O, or base with or without sub? Any other speakers or amps up front?
I'm trying to find more info but for now will wait and see what solutions others come out with. Not sure if this makes it easier or harder to upgrade. At least for now I don't think it's terrible, it's just enough to keep me happy - when the roof is on at least.
Well that makes me feel much better about it. I am also hoping that turning off the fake engine noise solved an issue I have where randomly the bass line will fade out during some songs. Doubt that's an EQ issue.
Okay well that's good to know! I only just got my cable and the 2 month license yesterday, but didn't have much time to mess around. Got sport mode, the amber DRL's, and turned off the fake engine noise, but actually put the EQ back in there after testing it being turned off. Absolutely killed...
Do you have more info on the 2025 changes, or know where I can find out more? I'm curious about these subwoofer changes. Definitely thought the '25 subwoofer sounded way better than previous models but I wasn't aware they if they actually made drastic changes or just some EQ tuning.
If I were you I'd skip the pods upgrade entirely. Save that $ and put it towards a better sub, amp, dash speakers, or kick speakers. Go over to DIYmobileaudio.com for advice on sound systems. Better yet, watch RAW-CAt on YouTube, especially the "back to basics" series. There's a reason many SQ...
I can't believe I never heard about this before?! I looked at tons and tons and tons of Bronco Audio forum posts, and YouTube videos, and never once heard mention of this. I just got my 2025 Badlands and found the "Driver" occupancy mode. Wow. 1 seat tune. I wonder how much it actually changes...
I actually didn't love it in person, thought it looked better in pics. However, it's one of those colors that I think looks great if you do some mods to accent it it properly or blackout the rest. Shadow black top, black wheels, an aggressive bull bar etc.
Same goes for the desert sand color...
This is awesome and a little hilarious. Well done! Did you do anything inside the speaker cavity? Is it sealed up in there, or any new findings after running this setup awhile?
