Yeah, starting to think I should have gotten the modular bumper. Didn't do my research on that one. I guess it's the capable (plastic that comes with it, 2 little fog lights?). But also trying to keep on the lighter side. I am using it to commute a few times a week to work. I know that isn't the smartest, but wanted a Bronco again and don't have a spot for 2 cars at the moment. haha.
You're all good, at least you got the right vehicle regardless.(y)

These should work then, or these , ALSO highly recommend A-Pillar pods (Personal preference being DD SS3's) and while not as bright as the diodes, doesn't hurt to have Oracle Mirror lights

Plenty of builds for inspiration, we're more than happy to help

I might need to understand that better. What do you mean when you say it makes driving around town smoother? I have noticed that 1st gear is very short, but just assuming it's something I'll get used to.
Well, let's just say I'm no expert when it comes to smooth shifting. I've owned multiple manual vehicles in my life, but I'll still send most passengers heads bouncing off the headrest LOL. The Rev-Matching comes in to automatically bring the engine rpm's up to the proper speed when you are slowing down and down-shifting. You don't need to blip the throttle to make that shift smoothly.

Ditto, world of difference. My friends with sticks who don't have rev matching wish they had it

Oh, haha. I definitely curse myself when I pull a spazzy shift. Thanks!

Umm, you have a Model A? My buddy, who lives in the Santa Cruz Mtns., near Boulder Creek, has a 1929 Model A.

And still torn on the spacers. The fact that you're getting rid of yours begs the question why. :)

- Tidy rock rails, maybe ones that you can also use as a step, maybe tubular?
I have a set of oval nerf bars you can have for free if you want to come get them - these are the oval step bars I think that you are thinking of. They are not rock rails though, so there is a difference.

*edit* - well you could still have them, but they are for a 4Dr and I just realized you have the short bus edition.

I I bought the spacers to use with the stock Sasquatch wheels going to 37s but Icon put there “pin lock“ wheels on 20% sale and went that way…I‘m running spacers on my A without problems and many run them on their Broncos…

I also have a blueish BB and owned 3 Bronco IIs, so maybe my opinion, though different than yours, counts, . No spacers, minimal lights. Better ( but not huge) tires, a little lift (2" or less), skid plates and rails (Fords are fine on both). I have what will be a seldom used winch and nifty bumpers also, just for fun.

Wow, that's beautiful. My buddy hasn't done a restore like yours. Basically replaces parts that aren't working? So it looks old, but it runs!

Ah yeah, looks great. I may be in a huge minority, but I really like the basic wheels. Thought I was going to put bigger ones on and lift, but I'm happy with how tall it is. Spacers not a huge priority, but I do like a little wider stance on it. We'll see. Bumper and winch definitely look good. I also don't want to go crazy with lights. Just a couple fun things.

I did order some amber replacement fog lights for my plastic bumper from one of the suggestions in this thread.
