This video is pretty good

That has to be the worst technique for taking the side windows ever (lifting the rear and front from the bottom.) You can tell this guy never took the windows off before.....They come off much easier if you peel the rear window from the top down.

I nearly fell off my chair when he set the windows on bare concrete. I wouldn't ever recommend a soft top owner watch the video except to learn how not to take the windows off.

Bought a soft top a month or so back. Didn't know about all the brackets, seller hasn't been very communicative when I offered another $100 for them so I just ordered this morning. Here is everything you need:

For the rear window brackets, they are really high for some reason, $450! A few weeks ago they were $1000!!! Guessing there's some sort of shortage. Anyway, I just ordered the mountains to metal that I included the link to.
Coming in a little late here but wanted to ask a clarification question, as I’m about to order this supply list.

W721070-S450B - For this part you have it listed twice with a quantity of 4 and 6 (and mention it comes in packs of 4). Do I need 3 bolts to attach each bracket to the Bronco? Then do I need more bolts to attach the top to the bracket?

Also - thank you so much for this list! Very helpful!

Yes, I broke it out that way to keep my list organized by area. I checked and it looks like I ordered 3 packs of bolts. I might have too many, I still haven't installed the soft top yet, but having extra bolts never hurts when they're cheap.

I’m having trouble getting my new soft top to latch up front. I adjusted the top roll bar mounts and got it to click but then it makes it too short to close up front. I’m thinking I may need to adjust the bracket in the cargo area. Is there a secret to the attached bracket when installing. It appears to have a significant amount of adjustment.

I tried looking up the factory adjustment procedure but didn't have any luck.

I have had to adjust these brackets before, but it was a trial and error thing, so not exactly optimal. Wasn't terribly difficult in my case, but I know how adjusting these things can go and wouldn't universally say that is the case because I don't know.

Is your top brand new? If so it takes a little time to loosen and stretch into place. When I first put my top on it was tight as a drum, now it's a little loosy goosy 2 months later. I also couldn't get the front to latch initially. The solution was releasing the rear latches and raising the cargo section and then locking down the front latches, then lock down the rear section. After a few weeks on the truck I was able to do it without releasing the rear.

I'm sure there is a thread somewhere, but I have a hard top and I am buying a soft top. I wanted to see if anyone has a link to a video on how to install a factory soft top, and or suggestions of what not to do. Thanks in advance:please:.

Tim
Did you by chance ever find a good video? I’m trying to put mine on today
