So only 15.8 MPG?

On a day of wheeling I normally average about 9 in my JK. 15.8 sounds awesome..

Agreed, off road mileage has almost no relation to street driving. I got about 6 MPG with my E36 M3 on track days and ~24 of the highway if I was minding my manners. So by that ratio the Bronco will get ~60 MPG on the highway

19mpg seams a bit more realistic, especially with larger tires.

That's not from a Sasquatched model though. It was answered in another thread. I believe they said it was a 2.7 outerbanks.

however I just noticed in the pics of a 2019 unlimited wrangler with the 2.0 turbo, 14.6mpg average.

hopefully that’s just from being moved around the lot and low speed test drives.

hopefully me driving 100 miles a day in the bronco my average will read 18+.

Sitting idling actually reads as zero mpg and really drops your reading on the gauge.

Also any time you stop for a drink, restroom or eating that time is also included in time to destination mpg. To average 57 mpg on a 150+ mile trip you would have to be running 65+ unless you didn't stop along the way. If your trip.was a non-stop then it would be 57 mph all the way.

If you're buying a 4x4 toy with big tires shaped like a brick and you plan of getting any mpg at all, I've got a bridge for you. I get about 14 mpg with my JKUR and I don't care. Life is short, enjoy the drive.

Big wheels will kill the mpg. I’m averaging less than that on my 2015 4runner. It has 33s on it. The Sasquatch is going to be a gas hog.

It's not gonna be that bad, tire size wise...
Don't forget, these are light weight, OEM developed "Max Traction" tires on the Squatch. Fuel economy IS definitely a design requirement. Will it be as good as 31" all seasons? Well, of course not.
Beating the shit out of a truck in soft sand and crawling up hills is gonna kill your mileage regardless.

I wouldn't worry about any of this stuff right now until they post the mpg certified by the EPA. I have a 2018 Porsche 911 that gets 29 mpg on the highway doing 80mph. When I take it to the track, I get less than 10 mpg.

A lot of it is how you drive the vehicle.

both 17s on 35 in wheels, can't remember which tire brand etc

Compare it to riding a bicycle. I can ride a couple hours on my road bike and average about 19mph and still function after. After about an hour mountain biking I might cover 5 or 6 miles and be completely exhausted.
