Switches?

I'd say manual sasquatch are must haves if you like fun, and it has that. I'd never recommend a 4 door bronco, or a grey one(get an actual color)

I don't know, I still don't think any bronco is worth over 50, but I'm poor and in Ohio. You need to decide if it's worth it to you.

Like mentioned above, smiling every time is a plus. There are no other cars I'd rather have right now

There's always that guy who can find a better deal down the road.

I'm not saying going out beyond your means, by any stretch of the imagination - but some things are worth more than just money - like time. Less time haggling = more time having fun.

Manual SAS Big Bend is a very nice setup. And if you decide you don't like it, or you find that "perfect" ride, trade it in.

I really wanted a HPR 2Dr 7MT Black Diamond. I ended up with a 4Dr 7MT Carbonized Grey Big Bend, which I'm slowing getting up to SAS-ish specs (at the time I had no idea what SAS really did or why I would want/need it, so it wasn't on my list. Hindsight and all...)

The 7MT manual was worth all the other tradeoffs. What I've got wrapped up into my 4Dr BB trying to get it up to what you'd be getting with this SAS makes this price seem like a steal. But I don't regret it a bit, and it's been an incredible learning adventure. I'm glad I took the bird in the hand and got out on rides earlier than waiting for my perfect ride to hopefully, eventually show up one day.

*I do take that no regrets thing back. I do regret not having done this when I was 15-20 years younger.

Also - if you have to travel out to get your Bronco -- all the better. Great excuse for a nice road trip back home with it to get to know how it drives.

Window Sticker is 57k, so a mix of Ford rebate and dealer "discount" to get to 52K which includes all dealer line items (i.e. "fees", etc.), then add NM tax/registration to that. This matches the 5K below sticker was what I was being quoted from dealers in Phoenix, Tucson, Alburquerque, etc. for anything I wanted. I believe I could do a bit better in Houston (getting to 7, 8, possibly even 9k below sticker) but that would be a two day haul back home. I did notice two broncos (one was a badlands I believe) Sasquatched with 2.3's and manuals at dealers in Houston, though both were black which I definitely do not want.

Good points. A couple of weeks ago our minivan died (not worth fixing), so we are down to 2 vehicles in a household that needs 3.79 for normative operation . Truth be told I'm leveraging these circumstances because my better half really only wants me to purchase a highway cruiser such as an Explorer or equivalent there of, so I'm injecting a bit of (artificial true) urgency into the situation to get what I want  :) . Truth is I really only want the Badlands over the content of this vehicle for the skids/sway disconnect, but also because they tend to be $optioned$ with dual climate, adaptive cruise - things the wife notices but are neither here nor there for me - and are always 2.7/auto's, which I believe might be a 2024/2025 model requirement from Ford...maybe?

You got a solid point about the color fur sur, I will muse on it...
I put OEM skid plates on my Heritage, has the capable metal bumper front and back so it’s basically a BD underneath now. Skids are easy to add. If color is an issue that’s another matter.

There is a lot of truth in this statement!

I currently like driving my Bronco more than my Shelby GT350 since it is still new to me… but these are just great little vehicles with so much fun factor while driving.

I’m driving the Shelby tomorrow, it’s been over a week. I know once I hear the VooDoo make that special music from the Ford Philharmonic 32 valve Orchestra with Chewbacca gargling on lead vocals, my preference will temporarily change… then back to the Bronco!

If the Bronco fun factor can keep up with the GT350 fun factor… all I can say is “Good on you Ford for giving us such great vehicles to enjoy “.

Have you checked cargurus? Someone checked a couple days ago and there were still a couple hundred new ‘23’s around the country. These are going for as much as $9500 off msrp.

I definitely wouldn't be discouraged by the hard top. Soft tops are very easy to find for sale on Marketplace & the Bestop slantback is a good aftermarket option. Then you can run both & switch it up depending on what you're doing, summer/winter, etc.

My advice is get what you really want. You will be happy and you will keep it. I'm on 2.5 years with my 2022 Base Sasquatch with 2.7. I ordered at the reserve, got the 2 door, 2.7, Sasquatch package, white in color- all what I really, really wanted. I waited almost 2 years for it but the price was unbelievable at the time- a bargain compared to today. I loved it the first day I saw it and still love it today as much if not more.

We have two broncos, both badlands and sasquatch.. While neither one was our first go-to's on colors, we love them so much now that theres no way they will ever leave..

4 doors are plenty capable. I loved our 2.3, and wished it had a manual for the nostalgia..

Sasquatch is a requirement if you are wheeling at all... Aux switches are super nice to haves too..

From there, washout floorboards are a must. makes cleaning mud and sand out sooooo nice over the carpet.

The hard top can be sold for 3-5000 pretty quick locally... and brand new oem soft tops can be had for less than $1000 on marketplace. the noise difference between the two are negligible after owning both.

Carbonized gray is beautiful in the sunlight.. if thats the only factor, and everything else fits your needs, rock on!

(Our new carbonized gray 2024 badlands sasquatch) I swapped my soft top to this one, and the painted hard top to my 2021 badsquatch last week... wife prefered the soft top for ease of tossing it back.

That's overpriced.

Get on autotrader, set up a search with your exact specs, and enable email alerts. I'd been watching a specific configuration for a year and a half and saw the pricing trends when vehicles would sell. Ended up finding the exact truck I wanted, in the right color, from a dealer in NC.

For me it was a '21 Badlands lux, tow package, leather, 4 door, manual, with the optional wheels. My price was $37,750 with 37k miles in April of this year. Window sticker was $57k.

Take you time and buy exactly what you want. You won't regret it. I still can't believe I get to drive this thing every day. It's a joy.

About 6 weeks ago an acquaintance let me drive his 2023 Sasquatched Badlands, just on the road. Fond memories of a jeep I drove for 3 months in high school (before I totaled it) came flooding back. So I hatched a plan to make a purchase sooner rather than later, found this forum, and been obsessively reading/viewing and absorbing everything Bronco, or at least so my wife informs me ;)

However, I have been discouraged by these current prices and had been assuming I would have to fly to Phoenix, or at least Alburquerque to get anything at a price I could swallow, and had even started looking at the currently heavily discounted Wranglers. Then last night I noticed my local Ford dealer has a Sasquatched Big Bend with a 2.3 and a manual no less! The price, though still too high is at least something I can consider. I want to get into some moderate wheeling before I get too old and current Badland prices are just too rich (for me). I figure I can get some proper after market skids for $1k or so, and perhaps those Boss "Walker Link" sway bar shocks will satisfy my thirst for a sway disconnect solution. The color (carbonized gray metallic) is not my favorite but my wife seems to like it and I would rather have a soft top but those are so few and far between...did I mention it's a 2.3 with a manual?!

In any case the dealer knows he probably has his fish because he let me drive it home for the next 2 days:

prices are dropping.... you have to shop. don't be in a hurry. you will see many deals at years end. houston, at least, has tons of them for sale. get on auto trader .com a dealer on this forum just offered at 3%below sticker. deals are out there.

Ask anyone here if you should buy a Bronco, and 98% of the time, the answer will be yes.😉 Regardless of the details of the deal. It's just money. But a Bronco, it's not just another vehicle.

Agreed!!

(step away from the Wrangler)
Bronco is a whole different vehicle and you will not be disappointed.

AGREED - if you overspend a bit you still won't regret it. I certainly overspent! ..but the fun factor compensated, at least in my case...
