I have just reached 55,000 miles on my 2021 bronco black diamond as I was changing the oil and checking the brakes. I noticed my rear opinion seal is seeping. I believe it’s still under warranty till 60,000 miles or five years. I was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem with this low miles I mostly daily drive this thing on the freeway. I don’t off-road it too often so it’s not abused ,but seems to me that it shouldn’t be leaking this soon.

Not common but not unheard of. More common on the FDU than rear but the seal is very similar on both.

I just had my rear pinion seal replaced at 16,000 miles (mostly around town miles) on my 2024.

It seems like an odd failure. Perhaps mine was damaged during assembly.

Cheap parts strike again.

The rear pinion seal on my '19 F150 began leaking right before the truck hit 30K miles.
