Yikes. I put on a screen protector the day I brought my Bronco home. Makes me glad I did.

Have you tried wiping it off with anything? Maybe it's a leftover residue from the rags/cleaners? Is the screen glass or plastic? If it's glass I can't imagine anything that they used scratching it like that.

Also I don't have my Bronco yet so I'm not sure, but I see an outline around your screen. Did it come with some time of film on there already that you might be able to remove?

That really sucks, I’m sorry.

It’s probably not the cleaner, but the rag that was used. The detailer might have accidentally grabbed a microfiber cloth that had some abrasive polish embedded in it, one that was used on a dirty door jam, or an incorrect type of cloth not meant for glass.

This seems likely. I would be raising a fuss about it that's for sure.

I had this happen on my rugged laptop screen while using it in Baja. It is the combo of dirt or dust and your finger. Went to Baja with a nice clean screen and came back with a screen that looks like yours.

Could very well be that cloth. If it wasn't new, it will scratch.

My thought are this was caused by dirt and fingers, probably caused by swiping. The center area must be a high touch area along with the circle just below the hazed part. Hard to say though as we can only speculate at this point. To me it does not look like it was caused by a dirty microfiber as it is unlikely they wiped down the center area of the screen until it scratched that bad. They would have to kept moving in a circular motion for a long time - a very long time - and only in the center area.

This is first on my list... Screen protector.

Which is most recommended. Reviews on Amazon are hit or miss. Rather have y'alls first hand experiences.

Stickerfab have one for 12 inch?

I cut a screen protector for all our vehicles and thus proves why. Sorry about that.
