Worst dealer experience I have ever had (also added unwanted "accessories" to increase the price a few grand which they wouldn't remove, and initially took the position I didn't have price protection with my day 1 reservation when my vehicle was delivered two years later). No longer their customer.
That should do the trick (and nice color scheme). My spirited canyon drives will probably become some desert sprints in the Braptor - handles well for the size, but hard to beat the 911 platform from a driving perspective.
I know even after my Raptor was verified (took 2 days or so), once registration opened I needed to call as someone on their end as part of the verification process did not click the "right button" for a Raptor. Took about 2 minutes on a call to update my profile and had immediate access to dates.
You are completely right, as prior to shipping I had waited 2 years for the Badlands so somewhat forgot about it, then it became real. My Raptor was 3 days to get delivered from the Mira Loma yard, whereas my Badlands was sitting there over 3 weeks.
My Raptor fortunately arrived in October, so have had it a few months now. From my experience the dealer couldn't give much guidance on the exact arrival date from the rail yard as it was outside their control (essentially only let me know once it was on the lot and heading for PDI). However...
Glad to hear it has at least been making progress across the country. Once mine was on the train it felt as though it took forever to arrive, and can be hit or miss for trucks once it arrives at the destination rail yard (in SoCal there are examples from 3 days to a month sitting at the yard...
As unbiased as I can be, I agree that black goes best on the Raptor. It blends well with the fenders and give it an aggressive look, while also making it a little more subtle than some of the other color ways (as much as you can with such a large vehicle).
Had the same situation. I will never use Sunrise again, or recommend them to anyone. They would not work with me on my Golden Ticket for a Raptor (said a $30-50k ADM would apply), installed unwanted ~$3k security package on the Bronco I ultimately purchased that was never disclosed or I never...
It's funny you say that - was driving around Los Angeles today, and had a couple F-150 Raptor drivers stare at me as a drove by, doing complete 180s to see the back side as I passed.
That's one of the lower quotes I received in Los Angeles. Ended up going with Private Collection Auto Care and their Kavaca PPF on my Raptor (has ceramic coating in it, and also had them ceramic coat the trim and roof). Would definitely recommend, but price was above the $5k you noted...
My issue with the flares is the design / shape of the rear one. Once you see these in person you understand the size and they have a nice flake that shimmers in the sun, but that rear shape could be improved in my opinion. Still an amazing truck and those rears don’t both me when I’m behind...
Well, I can officially say I have no idea how dealers are calculating PP for a Day 1 reservation. I had a portion applied at time of purchase which was in line with column A of the flowchart, and then I received a check 60+ days after purchase from the dealer. Between the two amounts, the PP...
