No specific brand but I'm a fan of the slide/cam lock style ones with either carabiners or loops on the end. No bare/open hooks and ratchets suck unless you need the extra tightening power. The ones with springs in them to keep constant pressure are nice too.

I like the NiteIze CamJam tiedowns. Pretty pricey as far as cam-buckle type straps go but they're very nice to use.

Vote #2 for these. They are quite nice.
For Ratchet straps Rhino makes some that store the extending strap in a small drum and are the best thing going in quick and easy ratchet straps. They have hook latches as well to keep them in place if the tension is released during use. Thumb release to allow you to extend more out, and the same thumb release winds it back up for you. Pretty snazzy.

I use Rok Straps on both my Bronco and my motorcycle.

Yep, those are my go-to, especially with the Bronco being so high up, not having to deal with the 'hook' falling out of the D-ring or the extra slack is so much easier.

I use these for my top boxes:

The retractable straps are a game-changer

And use other Rhino stuff for my motorcycles.

I use a Rhino strap for extra security on my top box.
