Is the trailrax time rack/pack rax system the only bronco roof rack that adds to the dynamic weight of the bronco?

Trailrax and Gobi are the two I would recommend if you’re looking for a rack that has a higher static and dynamic weight. I personally have the Trailrax and I am more than happy with it.

Thank you. Yea I have the trailrax system saved on an open tab on my phone for purchase but I wanted to see other options before pulling the trigger.

I have the Trailrax. I haven't used it much, but I'm very happy with their phone support. I think it's very well made.

I think the Gobi is stronger, and people I've talked to like them. I can't get past the appearance, otherwise I'd have a Gobi.

We have the Leitner rack on ours and it’s rock sold. Nothing feels cheap about it at all.

”The Leitner ACS roof rack has a weight capacity of 300#’s off road, 500#’s on road and 1000#’s static.”

My RCI has been going strong for a few years and still feels solid with big loads and a 7g road shower.

Do the aforementioned roof racks allow for easy removal of hard top sections?
We went with the Leitner at the time because we could remove the front andf middle panels.

I think the Prinsu would’ve fit the painted roof but the panels couldn‘t be removed.

Thanks for the info. I ordered my Bronco with the painted black hard top. I thought it looked better. Hope that wasn'ta mistake. I do want to put a rack on as I plan on roof top tent camping as well as I haul canoe and kayaks as often as I can find time. I have a concern about the contact areas on the roof where the rack mounts but, was thinking an applicationof a quality PPF just in those contact areas would protectthe finish? Thoughts??
Also, for clarity, if those of you that suggested racks could post links / pictures that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

RCI w/ support brackets and the side panels does the same. More involved install because of the support brackets

You can combine with JCR Offroad support bracket and push it even further

I have all 3 brackets and side panels and I can stand on my roof and roof rack and move items around

I can still remove the front 3 panels. I don’t use the additional side rail support brackets (must be removed to take roof off)

I have the TrailRax and I could remove all three panels before I installed my overhead molle panel. I can still remove the front two panels.

I think most racks allow the removal of all three panels.
