Don't forgot to post unboxing photos and install! Keeps us on the edge until you do a review!
I will try. I'm pretty bad at remembering to take pictures though.

I will say that so far customer service has been great. The problem is that I'm so ignorant about suspensions that I don't know the right questions to ask. The questions I have managed to formulate have been answered quickly though.

Sorry about that, like I said in the reply I was out of town for Memorial Day week (4Wheeling in Sand Hollow). If I didn't answer something specific, please let me know. I had also asked questions in the reply and havn't heard back. Happy to keep that conversation going if you would like. Customer service & response time is really important to us, so I don't expect this this reason to be an excuse.

If anyone does have questions, you can PM them here, shoot us an email [email protected] / [email protected] or give us a call 619-722-8555

We've spent over 4 years developing these shocks, so we have a lot of answers to your questions. I also cannot wait to release our Tech Article that takes a deep dive into Fox vs King vs Ride comparison.
Looking forward to hearing what other customers say about them! (Not influencers provided products at a discounted rate, if that’s a thing. I don’t care what they say as can they truly be impartial when asking for free or discounted products?) Also-One of the things I really appreciated about RK was their rep saying the heim joint UCA’s I installed would be a better choice than theirs as we need as much strength as possible with the portals. Theirs would probably be fine, but heim is the strongest. When a company provides truthful feedback rather than trying to say their product is the best no matter what-that stands out. Like I said in other replies, your products and services have earned a good reputation with your customers and I have no doubts this line will keep up with that. I didn’t intend on comments being disparaging-just being honest as to my personal experience. I have no reason to say anything positive or negative-just reality.

Having seen the RK products in person I liked the product and decided to go that route. Would be cool if they were also added to your deep dive comparison as they don’t seem to be well known compared to the other brands. I can’t say that my feedback on them will be very particularly useful to the board as I will be installing them at the same time as the portals. Articulation changes and ride quality will be noted, but really won’t even be able to provide a good comparison even to stock with the installation being what it is. Just too many changes at once, and I’m not in the position to buy shocks from four different manufacturers for further testing šŸ˜‚

I appreciate the honesty, just want to make sure we didn't leave you hanging.

I'd love to bring in other brand shocks to compare, maybe some day we can expand those articles and include others. It's a lot of work putting these together, so for now, we are sticking with the brands we know well and have experience with. Our article will be very detailed and is mostly there to educate those who are interested in knowing the differences. There are some small visual differences that most wouldn't think much about (like shock fittings) that make a big difference. We should have this article ready to share mid to late August.

Looking forward to getting more feedback on these shocks!

Since we are constantly improving, we just recently finished our own Bronco Shock Setup Guide. This focuses on our coilover lengths and amount of preload you should have. I think this is super helpful for those looking to add weight and make changes. I'm not aware of any other brands who offer something like this.

Our shocks are done! Well, almost. They’re leak testing now and will hopefully ship out tomorrow.

You went with the Icons? I almost went for their "stage 8" but then had second thoughts about yet another electronic system to worry about.

Acutune would you be willing to post pictures of cv angles at full droop with the Ride Shocks installed? Just curious what kind of angle they are at. I’ve seen some aftermarket shocks really mess up cvs.

Thanks!

Rock Krawler with adjustable compression. Rebound is fixed at +30% over stock and Quinn liked that number for use with portals. I just couldn’t justify shelling out $8000 for the custom 74Weld Fox coilovers.

7ā€ shock travel up front and 10ā€ in rear.

No response huh? I haven't heard from them either...
I was supposed to drop the Bronco off today for the install. Obviously that isn't happening. If you order these be prepared to wait. What's annoying is they said they would ship two weeks ago, then it was they will ship next week. Now next week has come and gone and still no word.
I'm giving them a few more days and then I'm canceling the order.
I wonder if Panda still has those scratched up stage 8 Icons.

I'm not sure how well a photo would translate CV angles at droop. I can assure you our engineers have spent a ton of time making sure the lengths are correct and don't allow the CVs to bind. If our Bronco is on the rack and I am able to catch it in time, I will snag some photos.

I sincerely apologize for the delay. I personally went in back just a minute ago to check with our Production Manager. We are 100% confirmed on shipping these shocks out this week. Photos attached for proof they are real and built!

I will also follow up with our sales team so we do a better job staying in contact with our customers who are waiting on shocks to be delivered. I appreciate your patience.

Question, why not use a stainless steel hose vs a rubber hose for the res to dissipate heat a little better? Excuse my ignorance.

Most metal braided hoses are rubber lined and just have the metal jacketing to protect them

So it would probably be worse for heat dissipation.
