I am a noob in wheels, but I want to replace standard sasquatch wheels with Method 703. The site has two offsets: 0/4.75" and 35/6.2" What to choose?

Stock non Sasquatch are +55

Sasquatch are +30

I would not recommend 0 offset wheels unless you plan on putting 37’s and a 4” lift.

The +25 are 5mm out farther than a Sasquatch wheel.

It would look great with 315/70/R17 “35” and Sasquatch flares.

5mm is about a 1/4” out farther than a Sasquatch wheel. So it looks good, fits good.
Thanks?
So, should I choose this? 17x8.5|6.55|35/6.2" When I add a Bronco, they have only 3 options. The first one 16x8 and 2 17x8.5 but another with 0/4.75. I am going to have KO2 35/12.5

0 offset is fine . . . several others have posted here on B6g using Method wheels with 0 offset, with photos and it looks fine as well as works fine. In fact, the Method 701's require 0 offset, and several folks have opted for them.

Sorry, as I mentioned I'm a noob, does 0 mean the wheels will poke out a little?

The poster who said it "looks like shi#" is obviously just expressing his opinion. To each his own. I think 0 offset looks great and am going with 0 offset myself (Badlands/SAS).

As far as poke goes, theoretically you get a little poke comparatively speaking, but there are threads here if you search showing photos of 0 offset installs and the poke is so insignificant you can't really tell . . .the average person would not notice at all. Here is one such post, with a photo, where the poster said "OBX SAS with 701's, zero offset (this set up has almost no poke) in 16"x 8" on 315'/75R16 Falken Wildpeaks".

I have the Method 705s in +35...and they are just about even with the edge of my stock Sasquatch flares. To each their own on personal taste but I wanted to avoid my tires sticking out way past the flares and spraying rocks on both my Bronco and the cars behind me. Additionally, from a mechanical standpoint, the farther out you wheels go the more load there is on the outer wheel bearing...physics. I went with 17x8.5 +35 and I am happy that I did. As the OP shared the only other option was the other direction...0 offset and then into the negatives. I didn't want to join some of the folks in the Jeep crowed with tires that go waaaay out past the flairs. Again, nothing again folks who dig that look...just not my thing.

Does 8 vs 8.5 do this difference? Or it doesn't play any role here?

Comparatively if I would have opted for zero that would have put my stock SAS tire 1.18 inches past the outer lip of the SAS flare on my 705s.

Yeah I screwed the pooch on this one I gave him a 2 3/4” out from stock non Sasquatch didn’t realize he had a Sasquatch. My bad Sorry. The 0 offset 703’s will give this look which is fine. I was implying 0 offset on non squatch, non lifted, small flared vehicles looks ridiculous.

Wait a minute . . . did you see the photo? Doesn't that 0 offset look "even with the edge of the Sasquatch flares"? I am trying to help OP with information, and I want to be sure that we are not feeding inaccuracies which is why I shared the photo from a previous poster who even said verbatim "almost no poke". The photo offers proof. When referring to the 0 offset I am not sure it's fair to say "I wanted to avoid my tires sticking out way past the flares and spraying rocks on both my Bronco and the cars behind me", because as you can see in the photo that would not be the case with 0 offset with SAS flares.

Ah yes, that now makes sense. I thought you were misinformed but I can see now that you are not . . . simple mistaken identity between SAS/Non-SAS. I concur that 0 offset would look different in a non-SAS context.

Mounted on-center the .5 inch difference is split, so increase of poke would be .25 inch . . . NOT noticeable in my opinion. Here is another photo from a poster who mounted 8.5 width tires and 0 offset on SAS.
