Replace Sasquatch with Method 703 Offset question.

Wait a minute . . . did you see the photo? Doesn't that 0 offset look "even with the edge of the Sasquatch flares"? I am trying to help OP with information, and I want to be sure that we are not feeding inaccuracies which is why I shared the photo from a previous poster who even said verbatim "almost no poke". The photo offers proof. When referring to the 0 offset I am not sure it's fair to say "I wanted to avoid my tires sticking out way past the flares and spraying rocks on both my Bronco and the cars behind me", because as you can see in the photo that would not be the case with 0 offset with SAS flares.
The top of the tread does, the sidewall bulge is out a little bit, but the sidewall shouldn’t be chucking rocks. Tough call on the squatch.

We are debating here a nominal, insignificant issue regarding "poke". We're talking a very negligible amount! I think what most folks want to avoid is a LARGE margin of poke, as seen in the following photo . . . you will NOT get this with 0 offset on SAS, it is VERY negligible and not noticed by most people, nothing to worry about.

+1 to the post above. I have a Wildtrak with SAS and Method 305’s 17x8.5 0 offset with 35” KO2’s. This is exactly how your setup would be. The KO2’s will throw less rocks than the stick SAS wheels in my opinion.

The post must have been edited or deleted, but there was a post referring to the the OP possibly wanting the king of the hammer or desert racer poser look. I found it pretty humorous as this wheel brand literally derived from off-road racing. So it seems there are a lot of people on this board that like the "look".

I wrestled back and forth before I bought my wheels...and rather than go simply by appearance (which changes quite a bit from even slight angles of reference) I got the T-square out and measured my stock distances from tread/sidewall to edge of the flare before I spent the nearly 2k for wheels/mounting/balancing. Regardless of all that, if the potential purchaser goes with a 17x8.5 rim and the STOCK SAS tire, it boils down to a zero offset wheel/tire (any manufacturer) sticking out 1.18 inches more than the stock SAS setup. If that is what the potential buyer seeks, so be it. I opted for moving my setup the 5 additional mm inward because...well because for me, personally, I preferred less poke. No need to defend having tires be even with flares or sticking out even a little...it is all about personal preference. Go with whatever you like.

100% agree. I added a 1 inch spacer to one of my stock wheels to get an idea of what it would look like before pulling the trigger. Go with what you like there are so many threads of folks chatting about method wheels. I’m sure you can find an example photo to give you an “idea”

for reference the photo of the front poke is with my iPhone 13 Pro Max resting on the door of the car. Listed the phone so you know my angle.

I think zero offset is good too...it is the most I would go if given a choice. As an aside, had I have gone zero it would have meant that I wouldn't have had to use a spacer for spare to clear my aftermarket bumper or spacerS to clear my BAMF tailgate bracket...it seems that most aftermarket parts manufacturers assume buyers will opt for zero offset (or higher) and at least 35s or even 37s.

8.5 is what you have now stick with it. It’s a tough call on the squatch either in a 1/4” w/ +35 or out 1.5” w/ 0 offset sorrry for the confusion earlier.
Thanks! So you are saying these wheels will not be like SQ. It's 0.25" inside or 1.5" outside. Correct?

I found photos with a small poke, but not without it :) @broncorik Could you please take some similar photos?

I am going with 0 offset as I recall 8n a thred about icon lifts they recommend the +25 style rims for 35's and 0 for 37's to clear. 0 means I can run either and not worry as noted the 0 offset is not bro truck stance.
