please post a picture when you get them installed. I’m down to the same two choices as well, which is the only reason I knew the specs off the top of my head.. 😂
Will do, but it's not going to be soon, my Bronco is still in production :D

Did you ever get it?
Yep, it's fine, I needed to trim the rubber stops for a spare (not sure if it was because of the wheels or MickeyTompson Baja A/T tires or both), but otherwise it's good.

Ford Bronco Replace Sasquatch with Method 703 Offset question. method-mr703-wheel-6lug-bronze-17x8-5-lay-1000_1000x1000

I'm going with the 703s and the biggest reason to go with the 0 offset is that Method actually uses different casting (forgings?) for the different offsets. I confirmed this directly with Method. I want the dished look of the above wheel.

It's very hard to see in pictures and they don't provide good images of the different offsets but I was seeing a flatter face on the +35 wheels.

The below is an exaggerate offset and you can see how it's almost convex. This wheel is for a Ford Transit and 90 offset for reference.

I saw a Wildtrack with 0 offset wheels and 37s the difference between the 0 offset and the Sasquatch offset on my stock wheels was negligible. The tread of the tires is probably more of a factor than the wheel offset.

There's a sizeable difference between zero offset and the 30 offset that the Sasquatch wheels come with...maybe not in appearance, but certainly in the impact it will have on steering geometry/wear and tear on parts. https://www.drivingline.com/articles/steering-you-straight-what-is-wheel-offset-and-scrub-radius/

These are my Methods with a 35 offset...close to stock and they do not dish outwards at all.

Correct, the 35s do not dish out. As I clearly said above the example was 90 and an extreme example.

Care to put a flat edge on your wheels to show how much or how little they dish?

I'm not concerned about wear or scrub radius or the like with a smidge more than 1in in difference. 1in is very little when talking about 12.5 inch wide tires.

I bet that article was more for people who put wheels on with crazy offsets.

When I got my methods my only choice was zero or 35... I bought the series I bought because I wanted to go with the bead grip technology so I could air down without heavy true beadlock wheels (in many cases which are only on the outside). With many Bronco folks going for the poke look, and lots of Bronco folks blowing up their steering boxes, I would wager that there is some correlation with not only much larger wheels but also pushing the wheels out farther because that absolutely changes steering geometry and stress on components. The scrub radius is easy to check just with return to center... And I'm happy on mine that with the 35 offset that the road manners are as I'd like them to be. Here is my offset...

Or did you mean where they land in relation to the flare?

I was more looking at the dish for the inner part of the wheel.

I was definitely leaning towards this offset to keep within 5mm of stock. But I also understand that 35mm isn't (in my opinion) material for these tires and wheels.

Now when you starting getting in the -18 offset and more I think your concerns come into play.

Do you mean lack of strength in the casting for a positive offset? I wasn't sure what you mean by isn't material. For me personally, as a mechanic, I try to keep things as close to stock as possible in one area unless I change something in other areas to compensate for whatever it was that I changed...so when it came down to five more millimeters inward rather than 30 more millimeters outward, I just opted for the negligible inward difference. So far I've noticed no issues from that negligible inward difference, and it handled like a charm at the Rubicon and on the street. Many folks like the extreme poke setup, and hopefully if they run that nothing negative will happen, but I prefer to keep things tucked. Whatever will you go, I really like the Method wheels except for the fact that they are lug-centric...even though Method claims that lug centric is fine, I ordered custom hub spacers from a company in Texas that I use in addition to being lug centric and it also makes it easier to throw a tire up there on the trail if you're at some weird angle.

Material = pertinent to me :)

I'm stoked about the Methods is that when I'm in the nether-regions this summer I can air down and be relatively safe.

Some people have mentioned that Method puts the hub rings in with the wheels. I'm not sure how widespread that is or if it's true at all.

Ah ha duh for me! Immaterial/material. Yes Method does include hub spacers but they're not for the 93.1 mm Ford Bronco diameter. Additionally, Method is a weird size...106.25...and although some companies make a 106 mm spacer, it's a sloppy fit...so I just caved and went with custom spacers. I can confirm that airing down with the Method beadgrip style rims was successful. Additionally, I can confirm that the tire shops have a heck of a time getting the tires on or off of a Method wheel that has the bead grip technology...so it works!
