Long time lurker and reader, with a 74 and a 2023 Basemansquatch.
Needed a hitch carrier for a trip we were taking, and I took a risk on the Magellan Outdoors aluminum basket from Academy for 94 bucks. This looks very similar to the Curt aluminum rack for less than half the cost, but maybe I’m missing something.
It’s not perfect by any means, but with a little hammer banging, it clears the 35” tires and did a great job carrying my cooler and grill. It’s a nice size and allows the hatch to open (with some aluminum shaping via the hammer).
